Real Customer Reviews at Arca's Yard Café:

Noy See- 08:56 03/12/23
I have been here because of my friends. I did not know this place could be so peaceful, and it helped me distress. I also love their food here. Their food sounds simple and traditional, but we were surprised when they presented it. The view, yes! It was so great! every corner is uniquely tied and arranged. their façade says the opposite once you get in.

Johnver Prince Lopez- 17:20 07/06/22
The place and location is very beautiful. It is so nice to dine on the veranda because the view of the mountain and trees is very relaxing. The food tastes good and I dare say that it is above average. The only thing that I do not like about the area is the lack of proper parking space. You will find it difficult to find a safe space for your car unless you are fine walking a few meters away from the restaurant.

Alex Davis- 01:38 04/25/22
It's an authentic & delectable food restaurant from cool ambiance, Baguio scenery at its terrace, clean rest room, good service, good food with reasonable prices. Sinigang Salmon was the best! Need more parking space due to its popularity, lots of crowd go there. Best for dates, family gathering, etc. Pesos Cash only.

Nestor PRECIOSO- 00:22 04/11/22
Well worth the trip from the city proper! It’s a lovely space with a great view of mountains and pine trees. There is also a library downstairs. Tried the basil pesto pasta with tuna and the crispy lemon orange chicken. Both were yummy! The sky was clear when we visited and we were lucky to have a table in the balcony area.

Rohan Muralee- 07:23 01/13/22
Lovely cafe and restaurant with a great view into the pine forest and below. Only tried the Benguet coffee (which was very nice), but they have an extensive food menu - everything they were bringing out for others smelled very tasty so I am sure the quality is good! They have a few outdoor tables on the patio, and plenty of indoor tables in little books which make for a nice quiet afternoon!

Christian Gorospe- 09:44 02/24/23
A quiet, fine dining experience at the heart of the city. Roadside parking is available. The aged wooden interior with huge glass windows bring about Baguio's views and cool breeze set the mood as you dine unmistakably good food. Servers were professional and courteous, the healthy food selection was mindful of every diet restriction you could possibly have. A little pricier than most establishments but you get your money's worth thru the entire experience. Serving time can be at least 30mins so come here when you're willing to wait.

M Yu- 14:29 12/04/22
We absolutely loved this place. And immediately thought of going back once we return to Baguio. We ate here during breakfast and all the food we ordered were so good. First time trying Eggs Benedict and it was a delight. Excited to try their dinner and lunch menu soon. Also, the place was gorgeous! Lastly, all of the staff was friendly and their service: easy S-tier. Kudos to all of them!

Portia Leah Layno- 02:01 10/25/22
Very very good place for dining! They have a variety of food that every member of the family (or barkada) will surely have a choice. Nice plating and presentation of food! For the dishes we order, serving is generally enough for two persons (except the paella which can serve 3-4).The restaurant is homey and classy. Provides good ambiance.Hill Station will most definitely be a staple every time my family and I are in Baguio!!

Tim Mitchell- 09:26 10/10/22
5 stars cause….friendly and more than usual attentive service without being intrusive. Live piano lent to good atmosphere. service but note bit of dress code. Good portions to price. Pro level staff from table service to attitude. Lovely dining room. Piano music the night of our dinner. Recommend walking around too as this place drips with history.

It was our first time to visit this restaurant. The place has a great ambiance. The interiors were classy, nice and comfy. Good restaurant to have a romantic dinner and have decent conversations. The food served were delicious especially their Spaghetti Bolognese and Mini Burnt Basque Cheesecake. The rest of the food we ordered were good. The staff were polite and okay but they may need to improve more on good customer service, follow through with requests and attentiveness.

Rohan Muralee- 23:21 01/11/22
Wonderful food, lovely setting and good service. A must visit when in Baguio. The menu has a wide range of options, with lots of different cuisines represented, including a good selection for vegetarians. Most importantly, everything tastes good! So you can't go wrong with whatever you order.Lovely old building (early 1900s) with an interesting history. They also have a nice little shop at the front selling food, pots and other little knick knacks.

Martin Hunter- 07:47 01/27/23
Lovely staff, huge delicious food, cheap prices. I’m addicted to the “Good Morning Breakfast” (available all day) which comes with a FOOT LONG sausage, bacon, ham, eggs, toast. All shaped into a Smiley Face Only P260. Incredible value. Try their Nachos too. The staff are always so friendly.

Yani Charline Wee- 05:08 10/16/22
Was curious this new.restaurant so hubs and I decided to try it while waiting for our kid's school dismissal. It was just a snack but we were happy with our cheese and garlic quesadilla and peppermint mocha. Hubs had the banana mocha and it was good too. Will definitely try more of their menu soooooon!

magic strings- 11:43 09/09/22
I ordered Vietnamese coffee and it was really good. Balanced sweetness and the espresso itself. The staff said food servings are good for 2 but when our order came, it was like good for 2 american size 🤣 we ordered too much cos of that

Jacques Boyde Paragas- 00:02 12/31/21
Their spicy ribs are definitely a must try! You know the ribs are legit when the meat falls of the bone. Spicy but for someone like me a spice lord, easily tolerable. Just the right balance between spice and flavor. Spaghetti and meat balls are also good! Price wise, affordable for large servings. Location is perfect! Holiday season in Baguio is full or tourist and traffic, but this place was just close enough from "town" and Pink sisters convent so its wasnt crowded and quiet. Definitely a hidden gem in Baguio!

Ana- 07:38 10/25/21
🥰 Ordered Coffee Cradle for 145 pesos, definitely my type of drink. Bitter sweet.👉 3 dining areas: Veranda, indoor, and backyard.👉 Clean comfort room.👉 With service charge upon billing out.👉 Prices on menu as of October 2021👉 Good place to chat and stayHoping they would update their menu. Note which one are the best sellers and their sizes as well.

Real Customer Reviews at Hill Station Bistro CJH:

Krista- 03:33 12/05/22
📌 Hill Station Bistro⭐️ 3 / 5🚨 Located inside the CJH compound, this small resto in a mini version of their mother branch, Hill Station. Service is so-so, very minimal compared to the excellent service of their main branch. Their food is okay. I like the pork belly with red rice. Very filling.💰Beef burger 255php, Grilled cheese 220php, Pork Belly 480php, Death by choco 130, Bottled water 50php / Total = 1529.00 with service charge🐶 We were seated outside bec we have a dog with us. We asked for a fan bec it was so hot at noon, but they said they don’t have any 🥵🚗 Ample parking but could get quite full during peak season / rush hour.

Nathan Mawhinney- 06:09 11/30/22
This was an okay restaurant experience. We ordered the fresh mushroom soup, the beef and shiitake mushroom pasta, chicken inasal, and lemonade. The soup was so good. Highly recommend that! The pasta and the chicken inasal though we're quite basic. Nothing very special about them. We also ordered the banoffee pie and the cheesecake flan. The desserts were pretty tasty. Overall I think it was pretty expensive for what we got but food is definitely okay.

Anne D- 05:43 09/16/22
Good food, good price, good service. We had Spicy Chorizo Aligue Pasta, BLT Sandwich, Sausage Sauerkraut, and were all delicious. I can keep coming back to try everything in their menu. Hope they can open earlier than 11AM and start serving breakfast. Location is at the back of Starbucks.

Alyssa Allaine Ragas- 07:25 06/20/22
Definitely a 5/5!!! their food is so gooood, i went there on Friday to have my dinner and went back the day after to eat there again! it was really that good for me. Although I'm already full, i still managed to finish my orders because their dishes are superb and you'll never get bored eating it. Really loved their bolognese and slow roast beef 👍👍will definitely go back 💖

Booie M- 03:47 03/15/22
Good place to grab food at the entrance gate of Camp John Hay. The food was good - and I'd like to think healthy as their rice was red rice. Not a very pricey place, but not cheap either. Their Spicy Chorizo Poblano and Vigan Longanisa was the food highlight of our meal. Both are avaiblr frozen - and we'll make sure to bring some home!

Real Customer Reviews at Café by the Ruins:

Justine Carniyan- 04:51 01/27/23
Food was great! Super recommended their pasta. Did not like the spread for the kamote bread though. Hot and cold chocolate might be a bit bitter for those who like their chocolates sweet. Also bought their coffee beans and mango jam!

Paul Albert Agunod- 02:42 01/18/23
One of the best restaurants in Baguio City. There are a lot of healthy options to choose from. Pricing is average. Ambiance is nice and there's a lot of "instagrammable" areas. Staff are attentive. At peak hours, after ordering food, it would take approximately 30 minutes for the order to arrive. This restaurant has 2 floors and can accommodate roughly 40 customers at a time. Go here early to avoid long lines. Suggested time of visit for dinner, 6:00PM. Last order is at 9:00PM.

Paulo Martin- 15:48 10/23/22
For all the breakfast lovers out there Café by the Ruins is a must see, must visit, must taste restaurant if you happen to be in Baguio. You won’t go wrong in any of there breakfast meals. As it has gone renovation even prior to the pandemic, the restaurant can now accommodate more guests. Best to visit as early as opening time to avoid waiting in the queue. Food is just a bit pricey perhaps because of its popularity, hence the 4 stars.

Jeriel Del Prado (jerieljan)- 01:41 03/13/22
This restaurant was worth the wait when I dined here with a group. Great taste, Good meal variety, great staff, average value and the wait wasn't that bad (it's par for the course on highly reviewed restaurants in Baguio, so 45min wait or more during peak hours). Oh and the dining experience in the second floor is fantastic at night. It's very chill and relaxing.I really enjoyed anything that had vegetables served in this place. I say that because I normally don't eat that and I find it remarkable. When reading the menus, take note that most mains are for a single serving. Just keep that in mind when coming in as a group.

Hiraeth- 22:00 03/05/22
The ambiance does help with enjoying the food. I mean, the bread here alone is phenomenal! Their signature Coffee goes with any bread and spread, the bacon isn't that oily, the longganisa is SO GOOD. I had to log in all the food I ate and labeled it as my cheat meal 😂. Would recommend it! 11/10Also, sidenote: the staff are really friendly, and accommodating. They really make it easy for someone like me (super shy) to talk to them

Julian Paolo- 02:35 02/27/23
The place is a downsized version of their branch in Session Road. Place is okay. Food is so-so and were served cold. Imagine eating pizza from the fridge. If there are other options, then try to avoid it. Or if you really want to visit this diner, go to the Session Road branch

Dominic Dayta- 02:32 01/02/23
Cool interiors, but the food isn’t anything to write home about. The fried chicken was crispy and delicious but that’s about the only spectacular aspect of it. Everything else is okay, which isn’t necessarily bad, but might not be worth going out of your way to visit unless you’re already passing by or your hotel is nearby.

Kei Casi- 08:23 12/15/22
The place looks good but service and food leaves a lot to be desired. Due to the small venue, they have a queue and their food could be improved. They're okay but I wouldn't wait 45 minutes to 1 hour for them. Go to a slow time and avoid the queue!

Marvin Cris Andrade- 03:16 09/24/22
The place is overated. We ordered Guys on the hood, beef stew and spicy chicken but none taste good. Meat is not fresh and food is bland, the only good here is the servings and cheap price. Service is also slow.

ter pee- 13:51 02/01/20
Food was delicious! Didnt order their famous(?) burger or sandwiches because I were too hungry that time, I thought the size of the burger was small but when I saw it from the other customer, wow it was humongous! 😋Though I am not really sure about the patty. We ordered for Cordon Bleu and Guys on the Hood.. These were great, I can tell you.Looks can be deceiving. But its the other way around. When we tasted it..👍🔥😍Also their iced tea was good.Budget friendly.Has restroom and washing of hands. The waiters need to smile a bit 😁Size of the place was ok, but I guess what's important, especially when you are really hungry is the food 😎Service was kinda fast too. Except for the Tempura, though maybe because of how it was cooked. So its understandable for me.But overall, it was a great dining experience 👍

It's a good place. My friend recommended this place to me, and it was beautiful. It is indeed a place for 'umil-lengan' (magpahinga) after having a rough day or academic burnout, or simply a place for you to have a date with yourself or with your friends.

SexyJexy- 17:59 02/09/23
Ordered the following:- Mushroom Carbonara 🥄🥄 (Bland, lacks flavor)- Sampler Set 2 (Fries, Nachos and Quesadillas) 🥄🥄🥄 (Fries was plain potato tasting, Nachos' sauce was too sour for my taste, Quesadillas was the only thing i enjoyed most for this set)- Raspberry Smoothie 🥄🥄🥄 (nothing special, just artificial fruit syrup/flavoring)Remote workers friendly, since they have outlets as per the waitress..Food is so-so, BUT, definitely loved the ambiance of the place, it was chill and relaxing, will probably try to remotely work till closing time to feel the night vibes 😁😁😁Note: GCASH is available

Real Customer Reviews at New Good Taste Cafe & Restaurant:

Leonard Ian Mendiola- 13:01 03/14/23
If you're looking for affordable food for large groups, Good Taste is the perfect place. Huge, huge servings! This place can be very, very busy during weekends, so I'd recommend going on a weekday. I'd recommend their Crispy Pata, and their Bird's Nest Soup. The Buttered Chicken was okay, the liver pieces on their Pansit were overcooked, and rubbery, but overall it was good. Chopsuey was okay too.

Ciara Mia Fernandez- 05:54 02/19/23
A very busy place with limited parking space, the food we ordered is said to take 40 - 1hr 30min. They don't serve what is ready but your whole order except the drinks. They do have a wide dining area. Although you're going to have to wait if you dine as walk-in. For privacy I had the photo blurred.

Jason Charles Yumul- 22:37 10/16/22
Famous for their Cream Puffs, but was not available. We had Sinigang which was really good and their buttered chicken which was okay. Service was amazing, there was a 'bot' serving the food and the service crew are always available to help. Great way to start your Baguio vacation

Roan A- 01:04 10/16/22
The place is big and spacious yet you need to queue for about an hour before you can enter the restaurant and wait again for another hour for them to serve your food. This place is located near the public market of Baguio. When you search for good taste in google, the other branch will usually appears and you need to type "New Good Taste" to find this restaurant. There's also a terminal nearby this place and it's just behind the University of Baguio. The tastes of the food are still great and yet very affordable! Their portions are also big. We ordered food for 4 that seems can feed up to 7-8 persons.

Mary Ann Go Siu- 13:58 07/08/22
Highly recommended place in baguio, the food has a big portion in an affordable price. We waited for more than an hour but should say, it’s worth the long wait. A must try when you go to Baguio🍓

I totally enjoyed my first visit in this place more than five years ago. I was expecting the same experience I had then on my last visit just last week.Of course, you have to wait. The staff mentioned right away that there might be inconveniences because parts of the area were being renovated, and that all food items will be served in take-out containers, even though you’re dining in.It was a rainy afternoon so I thought it’s a good time for hot chocolate. It was okay, but I was missing the same vibes I’ve had before. We strolled in the nearby woods after.

Earl Payumo- 11:15 08/02/22
Recommendable 👌Great ambiance. Accommodating crew. You wouldn't notice time while dining within the plants and the tree walls. Relaxing vibe 👍Parking is a bit tight because they preserved the trees and you would have to work your way around it.It is within our favorite place in Baguio, Camp John Hay. 👍Price: it is okay given that it is in a very exclusive and wonderful place but the taste of the food is just Ok, nothing really special.Would I recommend it? YESWould we come back? Yes

Jim Carlo Yumul- 11:23 07/31/22
We went here Friday evening before closing time. There are just few people dining at that time. This place is packed most of the time especially lunch time and weekends. Ordered the traditional, strawberry and mint hot chocolate which are all good. Service is fast and the servers were nice. The place really looks magical especially at night with all the lights turned on.

Justin Eusebio- 11:05 05/06/22
Food is great but there’s a long queue. There are also a lot of things that are not available during our visit. Comfort rooms are far from being clean. Although, the dining area is cute and unique.

When in Baguio: a visit for a comforting mug of hot chocolate is a must. :)Love the instagrammable ambiance. The garden setting is very relaxing. Staff are wonderful, friendly and attentive.Food is homey, and portion is enough for one. There was a long queue when we got there but managed to be given a table after a few minutes of waiting. There was just one working bathroom during our visit and there were some mosquitoes in the garden area since we stayed towards dinner time. But other than that, it was an enjoyable experience.

Value for MoneyIt is a walking distance from the Baguio Cathedral. So after attending the mass, we went here and took our lunch before going back home. They offer the usual Filipino favorites such as but not limited to pizza, pasta, pork chop and fried chicken. And they have a wide variety of dishes with generous serving at an affordable price. Still, the quality of food were delicious. It feels good that we discovered this place during our Baguio trip.

John Mc- 05:56 02/16/23
Very delicious meal great milk shakes and wonderful customer service. We'll be coming back. The older gentleman was a pleasure to see here working in Philippines baguio. I wish to see more older people working here in the Philippines they give experience in great customer service.

Zofia- 02:34 12/31/22
The foods were delicious and reasonably priced. Although retro diner is the restaurant's theme, it didn’t feel that way. The tables, chairs, and posters were designed like they were from the 50s, and old songs were playing, but there was nothing retro about the waitstaff. It would have been better if they wore something that matched the restaurant’s concept. The glasses, tissues, and utensils were placed on the table where the customers were supposed to sit. These destroyed the restaurant’s overall interior look. I hope the management will encourage improvements to tackle the problems I observed.

Rom Concepcion- 03:06 12/13/22
The place looks very cute. Food is affordable. I enjoyed the atmosphere more than the food though. Nothing extra ordinary about the food.

Jessa Mata-ag- 10:43 07/15/22
The food and the music is so 50's! Even the waiter who served our food is over 50s and I admire him for working despite his old age. Stay healthy grandpa. But seriously the food is tasty and sulit. The price is affordable and reasonable. You should try here too when you visit Baguio.

Food was so-so. Pork cutlets sauce was a little bit sour. There’s also nothing Japanese-like with their Japanese rice. The only good side is their serving is really big. Sulit ang presyo. But with the taste, some other restos around the vicinity is way better.

Can't decide if you wanna drink, eat, or have coffee? Try Cafe Will. This cafè on Legarda serves coffee, food, and drinks. When we went here we decided to drink and be adventurous in oir orders. I ended up ordering the Pink Lady which wasn't... my cup of liquor lol. I then ordered the Sunrise which was way better. It came in a pretty glass and you can see the different colored layers of the drink (blue curacao, orange juice, and tequila). The others ordered different drinks which were all very good (yes I tried all of their orders, the Amaretto Sour was my favorite followed by the Kahlua Milk). The price range is about 160 to 220 pesos per cocktail. It was unfortunate that it was raining pretty hard and their outdoor seats area got quite wet because of the somewhat leaking roofs. But despite that, we had a lot of fun. Plus on weekends there is a live band to serenade you as you make chika with your friends. We capped the night off with tequila shots. Will definitely come back.

Cafe Will is a great place for gatherings of friends and family. They have a wide space which can accommodate a lot of customers. The place looks like a simple house from the outside but when you entered here, you’ll be amazed by spacious the place is.As for their foods, we’re shocked by the amount of servings they have prepared for us. It’s really “sulit”, especially their plate of fries and bulalo. However, I did enjoy my cup of coffee because it was too sweet. They also offer liquors and wines. Plus there is also a live band at night. And the WiFi connection is good! The staff are nice and approachable.I will definitely visit this place again.

Mozzarella sticks on photo. I've always had mozzarella sticks with marinara dip. This one is on the sweet side. Good snack for kids though. :)I like that they have buttons on tables to call the staff. Makes it easier rather than waiting for them to walk by your table. They have quite a collection displayed at the bar. Would have taken photos but we were in a hurry so, check it out if you're in the area ☺️

The place is perfect for late night conversations with friends and family alike. The cafe offers both a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks together with rice meals, american cuisine and snacks. It is very spacious and accomodates both an indoor and outdoor dining. It also has a limited parking space so be aware in case you plan to go there by car. I have yet to try the rest of their menu since we've only tested their drinks. But so far, so good.
