15:28 04/19/23Coming all the way from Cam Sur, it's a bit pricey but maybe their place is just commercialized and it is located at the heart of Tagaytay, my folks said their place is even known to be one of the best bulalo restaurants there. When I first take a sip of their soup, dang, it's gushing with beefy flavor. What I loved next is their Bulalo Kare-Kare which is best when paired with Bulalo, it just hits the sweet spot. They said you can have a nice view with the Taal there, but unfortunately it ia foggy when we got there. Great food experience overall, nice place, nice food, but dont expect to have a budget prices on their food. Noelle Pamaran-
18:10 04/01/23This is said to be the best bulalo restaurant in Tagaytay. But honestly they all taste great for me 😅 we went here very hungry but came out very full and satisfied. The place is cozy. Very Pinoy. Great for families. The view is okay and the food tastes amazing. I love the pot that comes with the bulalo. Elle Bilocura-
03:01 01/05/23Did little research before going to Tagaytay for Bulalo, and this place is recommended for their delicious foods with reasonable price. It is indeed cheaper than other restaurants but tastes really good.We went here on a Sunday, around 3 pm and there are a lot of customers. We were able to get a table after a few minutes. Ordered their Bulalo and Buko Halo Halo. The Bulalo was served hot, the broth was tasty, and there was a lot of vegetables. The Buko Halo Halo is also delicious, not too sweet. A-nold Lo-
13:11 05/29/22MAY 2022 - our lunch option as requested by eldest son… influence of watching food blogs 😊 what we ordered is the same as what he saw in the video.. SPECIAL BULALO & KARE-KARE… plus other request…Sulit naman! The youngest like the kare-kare and added more rice…while the middle child prefers special bulalo.Serving Size 👍Price 👌Masarap ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️BTW, they don’t have credit card payment option only CASH and GCASH👍 Aireen-
06:59 03/08/22🍲🍖 - their bulalo is really good, though there are few veggies on it. The beef was really tender. The crispy pata is cooked fine. We didn't encounter any problem.👨🍳👩🍳 - Service time is about 15-20mins. The staffs were friendly and attentive to our order.⛑️👷🚘🛵 - went here last feb 5 and health protocol is strictly observed. location is very accessible. They have parking space outside. Good food and good view ⭐⭐⭐⭐

23:07 12/06/22good place to stop over before you go anywhere else in Tagaytay. choose your favorite food. we ordered pancit canton but it's too salty...we just add vinegar to lessen the salty taste. ample parking spaces. Shawi Cortez-
16:45 09/25/22Only ordered bulalo. Beef was tender, and served on a chafing dish w burner to keep the soup warm. There were only few vegetable pieces--2 corn, 4 beans, and 2 chinese cabbage leaves :(I really counted it because I wanted more veg. Haha. When I asked if we can request for more veggies, the lady stared at me as if I was crazy *(some restaurants give u more veg)Toilet has comfy chairs!Wash area has soap and paper towels. 08:08 02/12/22Got there at at around 2PM in the afternoon. Waiters are attentive but they're quite busy since its weekend. They weren't able to give our pitcher but nonetheless we were full. The meal was good but we did not like the water. Generally, it was a great experience. Jayne Kieth-
14:20 07/19/21It has a great ambiance and the place was very neat. The foods are very appetizing. Crews are accommodating and friendly too. We're sure to comeback to this place to dine in once we visit again in Tagaytay😊😊😊 Stephen Locarinas-
12:56 06/25/21We were looking for a good place that served grilled food (ihaw-ihaw). Since we were not looking for the usual bulalo, we still wanted not the usual "home-cooked" Filipino food options. This was the perfect place. We had the grilled pusit, liempo and ensaladang talong and mangga. All suberb! Perfect pairing with a cold bottle of San Mig.Staff was very attentive and courteous. We were expecting cash only payment but they do accept credit card.We ended up having leche flan and halo halo for dessert.

05:02 04/05/23The place is nice. ideal location for family time. The only thing I can say is that the meal could be better. The parking area is spacious. There is also a coffee shop there, but I did not get a chance to taste it. The location is great, so I will return to try their coffee shop the next time. There are many places to take photos, which is one thing I enjoyed about the location. Sheenalyn Macasinag-
13:36 01/03/23Customer service is great. When it comes to food, we just enjoyed Bulalo and Chopsuey. The Pork Sisig and Buffalo Wings fall short of our expectations. The ambience of the place is good, you have this view over the Taal volcano and a lot of good spots where you can take pictures. Kenneth Chua-
08:47 09/17/22We ate there past midnight. Place was crowded, almost full. For the food, we ordered set C (1) and it was too much for us - 10pax (7M3F). It includes rice platter, tawilis, bulalo soup (with marrow), sisig, veggie, bangus, and drinks. As for quantity, it's a lot.Notable food items were: bulalo- very tender, easily breaks when you push with utensils. Tawilis - eat it while it's hot. Bangus was deep fried so it was kinda hard on the sides.Parking of the place was spacious enough for customers. Ambience was really good since it was cold at night and having a hot food helps. If you want alcoholic drinks, go to the other branch - with the KTV beside it. This one doesn't offer alcoholic bev. God Levi Santiago-
22:04 09/04/22If you want to eat bulalo with a really nice place, this is where you should go.Parking is not much of a problem. They also have nice spots if you want to take pictures. They have a playground for kids (it's free but you have to show your dining receipt). They have a coffee shop where you can get a decent coffee perfect for the cold weather. The foods were fine, not the best bulalo in tagaytay, but it's fine. Serving is good, price is economical. Service is fast and good. fudge-
12:13 03/17/22The place is really really nice. Perfect place to be with your family or have a date. My only comment is that the food can be improved. The presentation (especially the sisig) wasn't nice and appetizing. I think they can do better, considering that their place is wonderful.

16:35 01/25/23The food is fine. But i feel it’s a bit pricy compared to other restos in the area that serve almost similar menu. The grilled squid is overcooked, making it a bit bitter and rubbery; the pork sinigang is too sour for our liking - as if they have poured an oversize pack of flavoring mix; the fresh lumpia is yummy - the veggies are nicely cooked and seasoned; the pork BBQ is very good too.The place is well lit and ventilated. It is however inaccessible for wheelchairs and for those who have weak knees. vinanbaltazar-
07:49 01/02/23If you are looking for alfresco dining experience in Tagaytay while eating Bulalo this may be an option for you. Their food were somehow tasty but you know it has a lot of salt and MSG. Also, the price is not quite right for some simple dishes, too pricey. Service needs to be improved so we don't need to follow up multiple times. PH-
09:02 05/31/22I super loved the ambiance here and the staff. They were so accommodating and friendly when we arrived, they welcomed us with a smile.Foods were so good and I really enjoyed it while watching the Taal Volcano view. We will dine there again! yojuex yojish-

00:00 11/02/21Very accommodating and friendly staff. It is also a safe place as they really observe health protocols. Delicious food! I so love the savory broth of their original bulalo! Sadly, wasn’t able to take a pic. Anyway, all dishes were good. Plus, you can get a very nice view of the taal lake. I highly recommend this amazing restaurant!

03:29 11/02/22The view of Taal Volcano was beautiful and the aesthetics of the resto made us took as mamy photos as we could while we waited to be seated and while waiting for our food.Really enjoyed their bulalo and kare kare. The only downside is that the food was a bit warm to the touch. It wasn't hot per say, but like the food was left to cool a bit before being served to our group. Granted we were a big group of 11 adults and 2 kids. Aireen-
14:20 10/21/22🌸 Food - ordered their Paborito Set and added a few dishes. Loved their Bulalo, meat is tender. Baked mussels and Laing con Lechon is good. Baked mussels is okay. Grilled Tuna belly is surprisingly good. I highly recommend getting their Turon de Leslie.🌸 Service/Staff - there was no wait when we went here. Staffs were friendly and accommodating. They were able to attend to our requests on a timely manner. They offered soup when we arrived and while waiting for pur order.🌸 Place - Great view of 🗻 Taal, but it was rainy at that time. Great ambiance and interior feels like home. Health protocol is observed. Place is well maintained. They have comfort rooms available. They also have space allotted for pasalubongs.🌸 Parking area - plenty of space for parking 🅿️🐾 PET FRIENDLY restaurant 🐶 😺Highly recommend 👍👍👍 Daphney Rose Ticbaen-Justo-
05:23 05/24/22Their bulalo is great, as well as the sizzling tuna. View is amazing. We were able to enjoy the view while waiting for our food to be prepared, which honestly is not too long. 5% service charge is included in the bill. Glad we were able to chance upon this restaurant as it houses a lot of people and still have ample amount of space between each table. Mj Roses-
11:22 03/14/22Great view, great food and plenty of parking space. Open dining areas, it gets quite cold windy. Served us bulalo soup while waiting for our meals. Food is a bit pricey but reasonable! Large serving and taste really good. ☺️ Lei M-
15:54 01/10/22Staff are very hospitable and accommodating. The food choices are plenty, including seafood, veggies and soups. Their servings are large and good for sharing. However, food is bland in general. Also, the dessert is too sweet and has a dry chiffon base.

10:49 12/26/22Place was good especially the view of taal volcano, but the only worth to get food here is the bulalo it self, the fried chicken has no taste at all, it isn't worth the price, the preparation of a place to eat was too time taking, we waited 5 hours just to get a place to eat and 30 minutes to get our food served Macky-
00:05 08/10/22Accessibility: located right beside tagaytay's main road, it is accessible to both public and private vehicles.Parking: they have parking space in front and at the back of the restaurant. It will be crowded on peak days.Wheelchair accessible for ground floor space. Going up the 2nd floor will be challenging for wheel chairAmbience: festive feel. The design is unique and gives the feeling that what you will eat here is authentic.Food: at 1650 pesos we had 2 big servings of bulalo, it tasted ok. It is served hot, clear soup. Basic bulalo. The meat is really big, but not as soft as other bulalo in the area. It includes tawilis which is really good. Sizzling sisig which is ok. A platter of rice and pitcher of iced tea. We ordered additional food such as crunchy kangkong which tasted good and Fried chicken is also ok. The food os affordable given the location of the restaurant.Videoke room: We opted to eat inside one of their videoke rooms which is 300/hr (non aircon which i don't advise, Even if it was raining during our visit, the room tends to get hot with all the energy and singing inside) there is only 1 mic, so singing duets is not encouraged. 😏 The sound of the mic and speakers is good. The songbook contains modern song.Staff and service: short waiting time, fast reaction from staff Gerson D. Graphic-
08:44 08/03/22Solid 5. I like food the view and the service. We ate in the front of taal lake. We order set a which is a bulalo, tawilis, rice, and a pitcher of ice tea good for 3 person. It cost us 875 pesos. Also a reminder when you want to get on the picture spot deck on the top you must have a minimum purchase of 1k in this resto. Luckily we manage to get up to 1k because of the service fee and the extra tub when we took out our bulalo. Patricia Comia-
13:00 12/11/21We didn't got the chance to enjoy the food because the staff doesn't seem to mind what our needs and orders, it ruined our mood. They have 10% service charge but it is not worth it. The condiments, utensils we were the one who get it from the table. And lastly, the bulalo has worm in it! Vegetable worm, very unhygienic!! I'll never recommend it. Yuri Dela Rosa-
05:27 09/28/21-Great Ambience 👌🏼-Foggy evening when I was there 🤩-Good Food 😍👌🏼even my Parents enjoyed the food.-Understaff but understandable coz of this pandemic, helped them by doing Claygo, also they are very courteous and appreciative even the kitchen staff they thanked us for dining. 😄😍 Definitely we'll be back 😊

02:12 02/15/23Not crowded even on weekend lunch. Has a great view of the taal lake. Reasonable price for food and their taste is on par with other known Bulalohan around Tagytay. The grilled Bangus is great. The Sisig is just good, too many liver for a Sisig, nevertheless the taste is fine. Paul Argamosa-
12:46 02/14/23Average Bulalo. Crispy tawilis. Cheaper than many restaurants but view of taal lake is fantastic! Gianina Aparato-
06:30 01/29/23I’ve tasted better bulalo. The beef was cooked badly, it was tough and hard to chew. Overall experience was unsatisfactory. Tomi Peco-
03:24 02/23/22You're typical tagaytay view and while eating bulalo. Staff if nice to take a picture of us. Qe ate at the top part of restaurant they have bottom part but no view of the tall lake. Maria Cherry Ann Reyes-
11:07 02/15/21The view is good but the name of the restaurant didn't give justice to its food. Most of their food were reheated lang. It's finr if it was properly reheated bur their bulalo's meat is hard to chew and cold while the soup tasted like knorr cubes. Their grilled liempo looked like it was fried and it seems like it was reheated. Little servings but the food aren't good. You can check their facebook page so that you can see more reviews of other customers.

14:54 12/05/22Honest review: 3.7/5Food 3.8Steamed Pampano: 4/5Taste is normal, a bit sweet for my palate, my wife likes it but it's just I had better Pampano in roxas blvdTapsilog: 3.6/5Once the best tapsilog in Tagaytay (or maybe in the PH), now just average. It's dry and a bit hard to chew now. The only saving grace is it's Tagaytay beef, which is known more flavorful than normal beef locally. Price also increased a lot, we've been here since the price is P75 around 2017/2018, now it's P160 but the flavor isn't worth it.Service: 4/5The servers are attentive (since there are only few customers at that time) but what I didn't like is the server handing anything, from menu, condiments, extra rice, to the bill, at the back head of my wife. I mean, they are lazy to walk a little more to the side of the table for etiquette. We're only 2 at the table for 4.Ambience: 4/5The view of Laurel, Batangas and Taal lake still provides a good ambience. Aside from that, the washroom is not well maintained. Table and chairs are clean and arranged. The best part is the singing acoustic band that roam for better dining experience.Overall:Reviews might still be subjective due to our memories for this place, but it is now becoming a shadow of their previous self. 12:23 02/13/22Quality. We're only about an hour and 15 mins away from tagaytay so we don't crave that much on Bulalo but whenever we do, we go here at Mer-Ben. Serving time is fast maybe because the kitchen is always active. The crew is very accommodating and quick whenever a request is needed. Other resto may have the view but the taste every dish is finesse here. Will always come back here. 💯 Loiza Dailisan-
15:12 12/29/21Cons:We we're assigned to park beside the highway even though there were few parking spaces available.Pros:In comes to food, waiting time is okay. Bulalo was okay, nothing special. The stuffed squid is very soft and chewy. Kangkong chips are the best. We we're also served with cold service water. You can feel the breeze of Tagaytay. And their toilet is also clean.

12:44 05/01/23My favorite restaurant in tagaytay. People there are awesome. What a view especially in morning becuase the volcano is at your hand. The food us great especially the bulalo you can feel the real beef broth even the free refill. Visit here and lower your expectation based on simplicity. Christen-
18:38 04/30/23The menu on the website was not updated. As of 2023, the Bulalo price is already at 850. It's really pricey and not worth it.Bulalo taste like Patis. Nothing special.Sisig was not tasty as well. Sizzling plate wasn't even hot, it looks like Kinilaw since the onion was uncooked. Its not crunchy at all.It seems like we are paying for the venue not the food itself. Chacha-
04:26 12/29/19The food tastes great! The viand servings are small compared to the price, but it was very tasty so I guess it is worth it. The cup of rice that they serve is taller than the usual cup of rice in other places, so think before you order extra. The seafoods were not available when were there, so that's a bummer. It has great view, overlooking taal, and nice staff. Restrooms are clean. It wasn't very crowded when we were there because it was only 4pm. There were outsiders coming to the customers, singing and handing out envelopes for tips. If that bothers you, there were a lot of those when we were there. ter pee-
08:34 12/25/19Great foods. Big place. Though, maybe bcoz its lunch time so it got crowded and the service was taking too long, but once the food is served, all food were delicious!Prices were a bit high compared to other resto. But the serving and the quality is okay too 👍 Leslie-Anne Bernarte-
14:32 11/11/19Meh. Overpriced. The only good things were bone marrow (served separately) and the unli kapeng barako. Ordered bulalo, pancit bihon, sisig, lumpiang shanghai, and inihaw na talong. Vegetables in pancit must have been cut by a LAZY staff, they were of different sizes! The eggplant was BOILED, it wasn't grilled! Other orders were fine but for a 10% service charge? Definitely not going back here.
