Real Customer Reviews at Chef's Home Baguio City:

ia likes_eats_travels- 22:41 12/24/22
We went here without a reservation. We were accommodated right away. The servers appear very knowledgeable. We were advised of waiting time, possible food allergens, and appetisers option not in menu. Waiting time is about 20 minutes except for the phad tai, which arrived when our meal was almost about to end. There is a mandatory 10% service charge. They give homemade pickled fruits as free appetiser. The meal itself was flavorful. I asked for sauce, and they gave me pure calamansi, soy sauce, and fish sauce. The calamansi made my chicken basil and pad tai delectable. There is free parking but the place is inclined. Parking is limited. When we arrived there were other guests who were in wheelchair so it appears the restaurant is wheelchair-friendly. Our bill is more than 2K for a group of 3 people. This includes a pitcher of drink, two viands, one platter of rice, and an appetiser. They dont accept credit cards, but they have cash and gcash options.

Authentic Malaysian and Thai fare, ample parking and seating capacity. food can be a bit pricey though but worth it. excellent service by the staff as well

Myna Sabado- 11:54 04/14/22
The food here is fantastic! We ordered Stir Fried Crispy Okra, Squid with Salted Egg, Coffeelicious Pork, Tom Yum and Stir Fried Mixed Vegetables. They were all sooo good!!! I loved the okra, tom yum and squid most of all! The pork was also an experience, a little sweet with coffee flavor in it! Definitely worth the trip!

ana gnzls- 10:25 04/05/22
Food was very good and reasonably priced. The servings are enough. Every dish that we ordered was special. Special mentions are the papaya salad (both fried and fresh), pulling tea and tom yum. The ingredients were fresh. The spices tasted authentic. And the look of the food are very colorful. Our bill was around 450+ per person but we went home very full. We even had 2 dishes packed and even the takeout packaging was very thoughtful.Highly recommended and we'll surely come back there every time we go to Baguio. Hope they can open another branch in metro manila. 😇

cuinn- 03:38 02/27/22
We ordered a lot of food. Among the food dishes we ordered, I liked the papaya salad, chicken curry and the pineapple rice. Will definitely be back. I suggest you also reserve a slot before going there.

We ordered dumplings, four cheese pizza, chicken wings, tteokbokki, alfredo pasta and ice cream, which were all good! They also had live music which we enjoyed.

Radosław Matulka- 12:54 09/17/22
Pizza was really good, with perfect baked dough (the strongest point of it). It could be more tomato sauce but still high quality as for pizzeria in Asia. Unfortunately churros was not edible, dough was raw inside. It just shouldn't being served to clients. Chocolate sauce looked nice like in Spain but probably was made from ready to use chocolate syrup, very poor copy of probably original version.

Noel Gamo- 10:50 12/24/21
We were supposed to eat somewhere else but it was full so I searched the web and saw Red Rustukz had a 4.6 rating and since it was nearby we gave it a try. Although they specialize in pasta, pizza and other Italian and American staples they also had samgyupsal so we went for that. Very good food and service! Also reasonable price.

Real Customer Reviews at Hill Station:

Christian Gorospe- 09:44 02/24/23
A quiet, fine dining experience at the heart of the city. Roadside parking is available. The aged wooden interior with huge glass windows bring about Baguio's views and cool breeze set the mood as you dine unmistakably good food. Servers were professional and courteous, the healthy food selection was mindful of every diet restriction you could possibly have. A little pricier than most establishments but you get your money's worth thru the entire experience. Serving time can be at least 30mins so come here when you're willing to wait.

M Yu- 14:29 12/04/22
We absolutely loved this place. And immediately thought of going back once we return to Baguio. We ate here during breakfast and all the food we ordered were so good. First time trying Eggs Benedict and it was a delight. Excited to try their dinner and lunch menu soon. Also, the place was gorgeous! Lastly, all of the staff was friendly and their service: easy S-tier. Kudos to all of them!

Portia Leah Layno- 02:01 10/25/22
Very very good place for dining! They have a variety of food that every member of the family (or barkada) will surely have a choice. Nice plating and presentation of food! For the dishes we order, serving is generally enough for two persons (except the paella which can serve 3-4).The restaurant is homey and classy. Provides good ambiance.Hill Station will most definitely be a staple every time my family and I are in Baguio!!

Tim Mitchell- 09:26 10/10/22
5 stars cause….friendly and more than usual attentive service without being intrusive. Live piano lent to good atmosphere. service but note bit of dress code. Good portions to price. Pro level staff from table service to attitude. Lovely dining room. Piano music the night of our dinner. Recommend walking around too as this place drips with history.

きみ- 04:45 07/05/22
It was our first time to visit this restaurant. The place has a great ambiance. The interiors were classy, nice and comfy. Good restaurant to have a romantic dinner and have decent conversations. The food served were delicious especially their Spaghetti Bolognese and Mini Burnt Basque Cheesecake. The rest of the food we ordered were good. The staff were polite and okay but they may need to improve more on good customer service, follow through with requests and attentiveness.

Rohan Muralee- 23:21 01/11/22
Wonderful food, lovely setting and good service. A must visit when in Baguio. The menu has a wide range of options, with lots of different cuisines represented, including a good selection for vegetarians. Most importantly, everything tastes good! So you can't go wrong with whatever you order.Lovely old building (early 1900s) with an interesting history. They also have a nice little shop at the front selling food, pots and other little knick knacks.

Bryan March- 10:39 03/20/23
Pricey foods but are actually delicious. Small servings too on some items but for the excellent taste, I think it can be reasonable. While you dine, you can also order for their exclusive craft beers since the place is also under Baguio Craft Brewery. Ambiance is nice and it place looks like a renovated ancestral house.

Etel MC- 07:03 02/14/23
Brought my family here for lunch because I like the Heritage homey feel. The place looks nice and the food are all right. We ordered steak and wine. We had a pleasant time as the cool breeze blows from the large windows.

Zofia- 11:51 09/04/22
This place has a pleasant ambiance and is close to nature because pine trees surround it. The foods were made with passion and dedication. They were scrumptious! I highly recommend their mocktails for drinks, particularly the cucumber and basil. One thing that I'll remember about this restaurant is its bathroom sign. We enjoyed a good laugh over it!

Kevin Montañez- 08:39 06/28/22
Had good time in this place. Did a quick visit with my friends and enjoyed a glass of fruit beers. The free taste testing was so much fun. I enjoyed their live band and their choice of songs. Legit, they made our stay so much better.

Luigi-John Canosa- 00:40 06/05/22
Craft 1945 is located at outlook drive. You have to go up a steep ramp to be able to reach the main place . The exterior looks old and traditional to complement their classy theme. It’s better to have a reservation in advance so that you would secure a spot . We were lucky enough to walk-in and there was an available spot for us to sit and dine. They are known for their paella which is really good and has a lot of servings. Tho it might be pricy for us. It was still an enjoyable experience.

Real Customer Reviews at The Farmer's Daughter Restaurant:

Rain elL CA- 13:07 05/16/23
Great food, service and ambiance. One of the best places to experience Cordilleran cuisine. Staff is attentive to any requests, ample parking space and most importantly, very delicious food.I just wish they bring back the paytoy (taro dessert) because it's yummy at the same time a guilt free dessert.Probably best for those with adventurous palates as it might not be to everyone's liking especially to those not used to cordilleran dishes. But, still worth a try 🥰

T Valentino- 00:11 05/16/23
Food had always been great. I usually bring my guests here for them to taste an authentic pinikpikan. But unfortunately during our last visit we were served with really chewy and rubbery meat. Kindot's my favorite and will always come back for this. We also tried their cakes. They claim the best ube cake in town but were disappointed because the ube filling was gritty and cake was bland and dry. The blueberry cheesecake was not worth it too, it was all whipped cream. For 190 each we expected more. Big slices tho. They service was pretty bad. They just bring your food and place it at the edge of your table 1 meter away from you. There were flies all over too. I jope they can do something about this.

Jay Orilla- 01:16 03/12/23
This restaurant serves local dishes which may not be for everyone. I do like the food here as it is definitely Filipino with a distinct flavor.

Marlon Bernarte- 19:38 12/01/22
It's where you can try local dishes of Cordillera. You can easily tell it's authentic because it tastes differently. However, it might not be to your liking. I myself find the dishes either bland or salty. But the good thing is I was able to try it. I guess it takes a little bit of getting used to. Don't come here with 5 star expectations as there is a risk you might be disappointed. The safest bet would be the beef stew and pako salad. We came here on a weekday lunch, and there were no crowds at all. Plenty of parking space, too. P.S. we got served with gritty plates and utensils.

Eizen Barleta- 14:31 08/26/22
A humble restaurant beside the Tam-awan Village, The Farmer’s Daughter stars Cordilleran cuisine on its menu. It resembles a big nipa hut with a familiar and rustic appeal. There’s nothing much to see inside aside from the wooden tables. The Farmer’s Daughter could be a safe option if you’re looking for comfort food in Baguio. They have huge servings with a generous amount of vegetables. Among the restaurants on this list, this one is probably the most affordable. Also, they only accept cash payments.Going here through a commute is easy, but returning to the city properly via taxi could be difficult. You better try their meat and veggie courses such as the Kinuday jen Manok, Pinkpikan, and Sendad jen Baha.

Miguel Buna- 12:45 07/23/22
My friends and I love The Farmer's Daughter! It's a staple whenever we get to Baguio. Their cakes are the best ones in Baguio. (yep, even better than the ones in fancy cafes along session road) As always, customer service with a smile gets 5 stars.

Jay Rob- 13:03 05/06/22
One of the best local restaurant who offers authentic highland fares. Your best bet is to go with staples like sinabawan nga sungo, pinuneg and kiniing and flush it down with freshly brewed Benguet coffee.

Real Customer Reviews at Oh My Gulay:

Hiel Castro- 00:15 12/07/22
A hidden gem in the busy Session Road. You'd have to climb a series of flights of stairs inside a building to get there. The menu is quite varied but all the food is friendly to those inclined on vegetables. They also offer healthful drinks. Can be a bit crowded on peak hours. You might have to wait a while but there's a lot of photo opportunities in the restaurant. The staff is friendly, though you might have to wait a while for the food to arrive. Just ask for the drinks to be served earlier if you're thirsty. The men's restroom is apparently not maintained regularly because it's reeking of piss; we can smell it from the outside. Not PWD friendly, and parking is unavailable. But in Baguio, it's best to walk because vehicular traffic is terrible.

M Yu- 14:21 12/04/22
First things first, the place looks absolutely amazing. It is owned by one of our national artists Kidlat Tahimik so expect to see a number of beautiful artworks. The food was good. Their meals have a huge serving. Priced reasonably too.Just be mindful when you go here as it gets busy during peak hours.

BARBARA BANSALE- 07:24 11/01/22
This place looks amazing. It’s hidden in the 5th floor of the building and once you step inside, you are transported to a different place. It looks like an old jungle getaway.I suggest you take a look at the menu, choose the one you like and directly order them at the counter before looking for a seat. You see, the tables and chairs are on the higher level and it is possible that the servers wouldn’t know you have arrived and may not attend to you quickly.Their menu is good for vegetarians since they specialize in vegetable dishes. The names of the dishes are funny and unique in a colloquial way. Although delicious, the portions seem a little too small.Kudos to the hands-on manager (maybe the owner?) who helped her staff take care of the customers when there was a surge in the number of customers who arrived at the same time.I discourage bringing elderly companions because the building doesn’t have an elevator. Remember, it’s on the 5th floor. The unique dining concept makes this still worth experiencing to eat at this place.

SexyJexy- 15:30 10/28/22
If you love veggies then this place is for you. This place is vegetarian friendly.Love their veggie meat, we had the Bistek Tagalog that had tofu as the alternate.. same as their Sisig.I loved the Dayap Juice so i had to order 2 ❤️😍🥰Ambiance wise, it had the Ghibli Feels 🥰🥰🥰I suggest going around dinner so you can experience the cozy ambiance with the lights turned on.

Christian Wawrinovsky- 12:08 07/21/22
When you looking for an alternative or special place where good meals and drinks are become served than this place is an must visit. Inside with different wooden art levels mixed when you find many photographs with meaningful message around you than you are there get an excellent experience that will keep in mind really. On top floor from this building you go up the stairway and than directly after went to your left through an glass door where you walk an separated stairway up to this hall of nice creativeness! Good food good people good time and good view over the roofs from baguio!

danica ann de guzman- 05:08 04/03/23
They open at 11:00 am and this was the line of people waiting to get seats before 11am. We waited for about 15-20 minutes and it was worth the wait.Spent only 660 with all these food and drinks. The food was superb and very delicious with big servings! Staff are attentive. Maximum dining time is 2 hours. They also have a bakeshop inside where you can take out cakes and breads. Definitely must try!

Baqs Baqs- 19:05 03/20/23
Great Taste.. not just good. You cant be at Baguio and not eat here. It is our mandatory place to visit. Good food, good price. Cons now, long lines but worth the wait. They had to initiate a stop order due to the number of guests

Judy Melegrito (Jowdi)- 13:11 10/28/22
Affordable and satisfying food. The place, is big, but due to popularity people have to stand in line before they can enter. Car parking at the basement is always full also. To avoid these scenarios, we decided to dine in around 4pm instead and it was really worth the wait. Another thing, they have this cool robot like a waiter who serves food.

Allen James Sanchez- 17:25 08/19/22
Although line is long, the food is worth the wait. They offer various meals, from rice meals, platters, fried rice, beverages, and even desserts! I would suggest to try their famous fried chicken and their Blueberry Cream cheese! Price is affordable. They give generous servings on their meals. No hidden charges at all. Will come back here soon!

Mary A- 18:56 06/13/22
Ate here everyday that we were in Baguio because we love the home-cooked style. Plus the price is definitely a great selling pointHighly recommend their chicken (tastes good even without any sauce) and their cinnamon twists (100 times better than Starbucks' cinnamon roll). The only thing I didn't like was their liempo. Seemed to have some star anise used on it.It definitely gets busy on weekends and we saw really long cues for lunch until dinner.

Real Customer Reviews at Canto Bogchi Joint:

Leonard Ian Mendiola- 12:49 03/14/23
Visited Baguio over the weekend and we spent our lunch here. My personal favorite is their Chicken Pastel. The Buffalo Chicken wings were good but a bit too spicy for my liking, I won't recommend it to kids. The ribs and the salad were okay. We went here around 3pm, the place was busy, we waited around 30 minutes to be seated. There are also few parking spaces. The place is across Burnham Park, so find other parking spaces if there's none available.

Marjorie Trinidad- 21:02 03/06/23
Its just beside burnham park and the place is clean and neat and also inviting. The price is just right for the serving size, and I wish they could serve the food a bit hotter. Overall the food was delicious, there were just some issues with some of the dishes. The staff hustled to serve everyone and they were all very accommodating. I suggest that you guys go here a bit earlier than the peak hours to avoid long queue.

Dan S- 09:49 12/22/22
This place is an absolute must try. Best ribs I've had in forever. The atmosphere and interior design are great for date night but is also accommodating for families and groups. The menu is rather lacking in variety but what they have is absolutely superb. Come early and expect a bit of a wait since this place is really popular and rightfully so.

Victor Yap- 16:17 06/17/22
The ribs has lots of bones and still blood on it worst its hard to chew.even hard to cut it using the knife.if you ratio the.meat and the bones you can only eat 30% meat 70% all bones not fresh..even the veggie in the salad not fresh, even the pizza worst ...we just like the potato chips. Ill not recomned this resto..we have tried canto when they are still at ketchup community we love the food their now they use low quality meat and tasted bland👎👎👎meat hard to chew.place is dirty when we seated table is not clean plus the CR is also dirty, not going back here waste of money and time...

Althea Tan- 06:10 12/07/21
Long queue but can't blame them since their food are really good. We tried the baked oven ribs and Salisbury burger steak. Both are super delicious and definitely worth the wait. Serving is also enough to fill your tummy!

Real Customer Reviews at Lemon and Olives Greek Taverna:

Engelbert Tabones- 23:15 01/11/23
First, you will be amazed by the view, and you can request a seat preference. Second, the food was good. Their gyros, pasta, and zucchini chips were outstanding. They have nice pita breads.Just be patient with the waiting time; we waited for like an hour on a busy lunch, but it will be worth it. Parking is also very challenging.I believe it's better to come here during dead hours.

Hensee Uy- 04:55 10/23/22
Service was terrible!!! I asked the waiter in the front to have us seated where there’s a view, instead he put us in a place where there’s no view and it is very hot. I noticed that it is hot in our place because of the plastic they put where the air should be flowing or passing by. Maybe they put those plastics because of covid? But it made it hotter in the area because of it. Take note, we have a baby with us. When I approached them regarding having us transferred to the veranda (with view) they told me we need to line up again and wait. We haven’t really ordered yet and was just seated but they didn’t even consider that. So weird since I initially told the staff upon arrival about my request of seating. Also, the staff aren’t attentive. My hand was raised for a long time but no one is attending to me. Another, the guard asked my husband to move our car because other cars are going out already. But when my husband is in our car already, the other cars is still empty!!!! They made my husband wait for a long time for the other cars passenger to arrive and go inside their cars. This is such a waste of time!!! Should just ask my husband to go to his car when the others are going out already. Note: The passengers took time loading in or going inside their respective cars. Next, their food is not that special. The lamb was hard and chewy, the octopus was also chewy. The salad is bitter (or maybe it is supposed to be like that). Their zucchini chips is not crunchy (is it supposed to be like that too?) It was served right away after we just ordered, not sure if it was really that fast to prepare or it was already prepared just waiting for people to order it. Overall, I am not happy with our family’s first and most probably last dining experience here. I hope that if ever next time we will come back again here that the restaurant will improve their food and service. The restaurant seems to be really popular and I don’t get why we experienced something like this here.

theo- 14:12 07/20/22
Wonderful ambiance, a stunning evening time view with a great service! The food was great, unfortunately the pilaf rice is too soft, overcooked. The baklava also too sweet for us. However, I love the pasta so much!

Shaun Gardiner- 06:07 05/20/22
2nd time here and had to wait for a seat but everything was worth the wait(actually waited longer than usual because we wanted to get seats by the balcony.). The food is great, the overall feel of the restaurant fits Baguio just right. Definitely a must try when in Baguio city. The Lamb Chops was excellent. The Greek salad was great and the hummus was just perfect.

Raia Skia- 00:01 03/18/22
We went on a Saturday this March so I expected a lot of people so we avoided lunch time but unfortunately a lot of people thought of the same thing. 😂 We arrived around 1-1:30pm and there's already a lot of people in line outside. We had to wait longer since we brought our dog with us so we have to wait outside, not their fault though. The place has this old Greek charm. When we were seated, since they use table cloth, the table was not super clean. So i have to wipe it with tissue and pick up some leftover. The food was okay, i expected a lot though because of the hype. The gyros were a bit disappointing, meat was bland. The L&O salad was a bomb though! The Mediterranean pasta was too oily for my liking but the zucchini chips made up for it. We ordered the Greek Village sausage for my sister who wants to eat rice but don't order it, too pricey for ₱190 for slices of chinese sausage. Overall, it was an average experience. But would i line up for more than an hour again? No.

Everything we ordered is very good, and I want to highlight their Sukiyaki Hot Pot because it's very well made. Their sushi is also outstanding. Nice ambiance and good service.

My favorite Japanese restaurant in Baguio!I always make it a point to visit whenever we’re in Baguio.I especially love their Legarda branch which is a house converted into a restaurant. The atmosphere is very cozy. The servers are very attentive. Their servings are generous and their price point is very competitive compared to other Japanese restaurants in Manila. The salmon sashimi is always a favorite! They also gave us complimentary matcha ice cream which was really good! We’ll definitely go back on our next Baguio Trip!

This is actually a rustic house that was made into a restaurant. Everything we ordered was delicious! I enjoyed the sukiyaki, ebi tempura and the chicken terriyaki salad. Their matcha ice cream was a nice surprise at the end of our meal. You can also buy coffee and other Japanese good items there. I think it's great that they accept reservations since restaurants are usually full in Baguio. Staff is responsive too.

Like:- Fresh and delicious Japanese food. A fan of their Agedashi tofu, tuna sashimi, and cold tempura soba- Nice ambiance, whether indoor or outdoorDislike:- Mix-up in our reservation. Was not handled well initially but they finally came up with a solution- Parking was such a hassle- Encountered staff who did not respond to questions properlyFood was excellent, can't say anything bad about it. Was just not too pleased with the inconveniences we had to deal with.

If you're looking for authentic Japanese food in Baguio, look no further! Everything here is fresh and delicious. Just call ahead to make sure you have a table since this place is usually packed. Sonoko, the owner, is very hands-on when it comes to the food preparation. She and her staff are very warm and dedicated. I highly recommend the Agedashi tofu, mixed tempura, tuna or salmon sashimi and their cold noodles. Oishi!

We visited the Rose Bowl Steakhouse & Restaurant twice in our 3 nights stopover in Baguio City on our way to Banaue, January 2016. It was 2 really good & hearty dinner we had with very delicious Chinese cuisine. The waiters were very quick to attend to customers needs. Hot cups of tea & cold glasses of water are served immediately after one has finished the order. Great food service. Good portions of food per order. Price were reasonable, The interior is well organized, plenty of window glass, plenty of light & sounds from customers chatting was subdued. The comfort room was clean & tidy. Kind, respectful & helpful guard at the entrance & parking area. Highly recommendable.
