I was still talking to him. I mean that is so rude! When he came back, he’s like annoyed because we are giving him our follow up order where in the first place he didnt let me finish. 14:55 12/31/17This restaurant has many accolades and awards for best restaurant last 2 years running in Butuan City. I must say the food in very well prepared and tasted good. The only downside was that there is a party/convention room upstairs. When we visited a party was going on and children screaming and loud music killed the restaurant vibe. This was around noon, so keep that in mind. The Pineapple shake tastes like a coconut shake. However, the mango is real mango in the shake. Service was a bit on the slow side with one server for about 4 tables and 20 people at the time. Why Kuya worked alone I don’t know. We would eat here again though because the food tasted that good. Bigby’s, first they brought me out a glass with what I assume was snot on the rim. They replaced the glass and my drink, the silverware was filthy, the “steak” was horrible and they didn’t have the main dish they are known for which is the ribs. 08:38 06/19/22I have been longing to eat seafoods especially the huge crabs. So far, when it comes to seafoods I highly recommend this restaurant. In the past, I was told that it wasn't good because it lacks the selection of seafoods. Maybe at that time it has limited stocks especially when pandemic hit. Demand drop and they are forced to limit their stocks.The cooking is delicious. The Crab's sauce really elevated the taste.Next time I will be back and will try their lobsters.Heads up, seafoods are pricey and so far in this town they are the only restaurant that cooks delicious high end crabs, lobsters, and other seafoods. Anyway, the ambiance is nice and cozy seating. I love the wooden tables and chair. Probably almost close to fine dining with a little development with the mangament. This is designed for a large family or group dine out. The downside is, their food presentation is not that good, they are using plastics. 15:21 12/31/17This place is definitely designed for larger families. The large wooden tables and chairs sooted our group of 12 or more with ease. Prices are lower and the house special Buko Halo and chicken Inato with rice and papaya pickles was good enough to fill you up. The night we visited they had a guitar playing music and singing an assortment of songs that were age appropriate. CASH ONLY is a downside but understandable. I say close because beef is always frozen so cooking frozen beef doesn't come as tender as fresh meat. I ordered medium rare and it came out good. Mashed potatoes were good too with butter and milk. The scallops good too. My friend liked them more than me. I liked the stake more. 🙂 Staff was excellent all the time, attentive just in case we had any needs but far away to give us privacy.
