09:32 09/26/22We were brought here by our gracious host, as a culmination of our business trip. When we arrived, the place is buzzing and full of people. I heard this is a place to-go when you are in Cagayan De Oro. The place is nice, especially at the second floor where you can see some relics and antique pieces the owner has set up. I must say, the food were really good (well at least for those we ordered as pictured below). Especially the fried hito ensalada, I can’t get enough of it, and it’s new to my taste. I would also like to mention with delight their pork humba, which is also very worth it. They also have this unique desert, sizzling binaki, which is a sweet corn tamales topped with vanila ice cream and caramel sauce all served in a sizzling plate. It’s surprisingly good, combining that smoky flavor into the cold dessert gives a whole lot of new experience in your taste buds. Plus, you can pour the caramel sauce yourself and make a social media content for it. All in all, it was a splendid dining experience in Cagayan De Oro. If there was one thing to improve maybe the availability of dishes (a lot of the dishes) weren't available when we were there, and the speed of service (especially when half of our group were hungry senior citizens). Half of the restaurant's guests are busy with photoshoots and selfies. Loud jazz music all night making us raise our voice a bit as we conversed between bites. Menu has a great range but the service is small compared to what you will expect with the price. Some items were also not available which can be disappointing after mulling over what to eat. Me and my college batch mates come here for a reunion and the food was worth the price. It tastes really good. You dine while enjoying the vibrant ambiance of the High Ridge. The server said that the restaurant is also owned by the mall owner.We are a party of four and our bill amounted to P2900. Our primary purpose is to try ostrich meat. The server highly recommended the salpicao over the steak, which is what we initially ordered. We followed his recommendation and enjoyed the ostrich salpicao very much. We also ordered two vegetable dishes and another viand (tuna). If you're vegetarian, there are vegetarian options to choose from.The waiting time for the food is about 15 minutes. 14:00 12/04/18A cozy filipino restaurant located at the 2nd floor in downtown CDO. It was our 1st time here. We ordered Inihaw Tuna Panga, Kagay anon soup, Pork Sisig and Chicken barbecue. They are all good. We especially liked the Kagay anon soup, it is a seafood soup with large clams, shrimps and fish fillet. It gets crowded and full during lunch and dinner times but we were lucky to get a seat. They closes at 2pm and opens again in a later time in the evening. We came in around 1pm and 1 hour eating our meal is just isn't enough to fully enjoy their delicious food but they will for you until you finish. We went here January this year and me and my family absolutely love here, and now where planning to come back here maybe around september, I'll post an update if the service and the food is still great but our first visit is absolutely great need some improvements in the space but still spacious enough for my family and extended family.
