15:46 10/27/22This is my go to place for during the week date nights. On weekends, it gets busy... Very busy, so I tend to avoid it. Steak is great and the set menu with upgrade options is right. The wine list is extensive but a little pricey. The ambience is great. You get what you pay for, so expect the prices to be $$$$. The food quality is excellent.I've been coming here for the last 6 years and it's been consistent every single time. I highly recommend this place if you have foreign visitors and you take them to Tagaytay. Ben Kageyama-
15:55 10/18/22The only thing better than the view from this place is the food! I was fortunate enough to try their mushroom soup, hummus, and steak—all were savory, scrumptious, and worth the price. Unfortunately, I can no longer recall the dessert I ordered, but I do remember that it was the perfect end to my meal.I’d give this place 5-stars but waiting time was longer than expected. This was after the staff told us that it was “almost our turn” every 5 minutes for the entirety of an hour. The experience was still worth it. Abien Fred Agarap-
06:16 08/21/22We quite lucky to have dined here at the time since we did not know if there was any reservation needed, fortunately there were slots available during our visit.Their food and service are splendid. The staff members are all quite friendly, and the food, just heavenly. My girlfriend always wants us to go back here, and we definitely will, hopefully, soon. Even if dining here is our only reason to visit Tagaytay. That’s how great they are. 👌🏻 Jodi Lee-

04:18 02/21/22Though it was an effort to go to during a Sunday, I would think it was worth it. We booked a late lunch for 6 and it was very enjoyable. We were sat in a wide veranda with other dinners but it still felt cozy. The staff were courteous. The food was well-prepared and delicious. We all had a 3 course meal and for the price we paid it was terrific. The desserts were particularly tasty. Would most likely come back with my family again.

15:14 11/17/22Enjoyed this place. Rich flavors coupled with beautiful setting made for an all-around wonderful dining experience. We had the green curry (chicken), crispy pork red curry, bagoong rice, pad Thai, fresh spring rolls, and mango sticky rice. All yum. 01:30 03/02/22Awesome foods and great service. The place is a bit hidden from the busy Tagaytay, a sort of relief from the usual crowded restaurants as reservations are required here. Spacious parking but is located a bit far off behind the main dining area. Very welcoming staff, of course, health protocols were observed. They have a vast choice of food on the menu, we got ourselves Pad Thai, Calamari, Salted Egg Chicken, and Spring Rolls. As for the drinks, I ordered Coconut Shake and Lemongrass juice with Pandan. Everything was served freshly prepared. Would come again to try other items. Carmela Sison-
17:04 02/05/22The owner was very nice. Her husband is the chef. Makes a difference when the owners are hands on. They have added an extension which is Al Fresco making it more desirable specially when you have kids. The thai food flavourful though a bit on the sweet side for us. Lots of parking. Will definitely come back.

02:01 04/02/23Bawais is one of my favorite places in Tagaytay... Their kind service, their interesting menu. The freshness of their ingredients and most importantly their tasty dishes. 16:00 04/01/23Perks of being lost while trying shortcuts to evade Tagaytay traffic: finding restaurants like this. We didn't know you have to have a reservation to dine here but luckily, there is still one more table available. We met the owner and the head chef (son of the owner). The owner is very kind and assisted for our table because it was directly at the sunset glare as their blinds were not yet delivered. The head chef came to out table to kindly ask how is the food. Really nice family.Food: pricey but there are strong points like the flavor and taste authenticity so I think, it is fair. The serving size also compensated for the price. I love their spring rolls! Pho is definitely a must as well as the ginger chicken and chicken curry.Place is really intimate, good for dates if you want to impress. Parking is limited but there are staff to assist you.Oh by the way, mode of payment is only cash. No cards available 🙁 제니김-

11:29 10/08/21Bawai's deserves the 4.5 star rating it has. We went here just this week, and we're pleasantly surprised in how delicious each entry we had.First, we had the spring rolls. It's simple, yet executed well. Each serving has a whole shrimp in it, together with a slice of chicken. It's good on its own, but the peanut sauce just puts it on another level. Good for 2.Next, we had beef pho. I've been to Hanoi before, and I have to say the broth is as close to what I tasted there back then. Bawai's also provides two sauces to complement the soup -- one is thick soy sauce, and the other, chili sauce. Try introducing it to the broth to give it more of a "kick". Good for 2 as well. After that, we had the chicken curry. The curry sauce tastes as what you can expect of any southeast asian curry, however, minus the spicy. The best part with the dish is how JUICY and TENDER the chicken was. It was basically fall off the bone. Good for 2.Lastly, we had the what they call "double grilled" pork belly. I'd have to say that this was the STAR of the show. The pork was fatty, and yet there was no "umay" in every bite. The char, together to what amazing marinade they put it in was just the best.I haven't even talked about the dipping sauce. BOY, if I said earlier that the pork was that amazing, wait until you pour some of them sauce. It's already 10/10 for the pork alone, but it just went plus ultra with the sauce. 11/10.The pork belly comes together with a cake that's made with egg and mushroom. Nothing really special with it, just good enough side dish to this phenomenal main dish. All in all, good for 2 as well.We spent just around 1600 php, and I'd consider it cheap given the volume and quality of the food. Especially when compared to other nearby restaurants, the price wasn't too bad. To err in the side of caution, prepare 400 php per person. If you're in Silang/ Tagaytay, it's definitely a must try. Just book ahead so you won't have any issues with reservation. Ross Lorenzo-
16:43 12/12/19Awesome spot in the middle of the hills, the restaraunt is inside Bawai's house. As you walk up the stairs you're greeted by the staff and the owners. Very cosy cool little place that serve pretty good Vietnamese food (However, I do believe that the taste has been adjusted for the Filipino palette, a little bit sweeter and muted down). Their prawns in tamarind were our favourite during dinner. Also they only take cash no cards. Ensure you have more than enough given the nearest ATM is near the town kilometers away.

07:57 01/10/23Antonio's has always been our go-to place for a Christmas/holiday dining. This year, we went on 24 Dec. We intended to have our reservation during the dinner service, as we always had, but according to the staff, dinner service is fully booked. We went ahead with the lunch service and, unexpectedly, we enjoyed it better. The ambiance of Antonio's restaurant is also very different with the sunlight. The architecture and beauty of the place can be viewed more (lol) and appreciated! Now for the food, 10/10. Delicious and very filling. For the most recent visit, we ordered their dry aged angus steak with gnocchi and gratin potato as sides, their rack of lambs, and the seafood cannelloni (so that we have pasta). We never get tired from their steak and lamb dishes. Always cooked to our liking and seasoned well. The sides are the same great taste. We also additionally ordered the hot stone garlic rice (it was our first time ordering this) to try something new, and it's really yum! Can be shared by two to three persons.Cant wait to dine here again. Cathy Lodestar-
12:42 01/02/23This fine dining resto offers Delicious Full course meals that are quite above the usual meal budget. We went there for New Year’s lunch and spent about 4K per person. 13:20 06/16/22Attended a wedding recently, sadly the weather did not cooperate. Cocktails prior to dinner was supposed to be at the garden with nice set ups. Before the cocktails started, there was a heavy downpour. The staff were quick to transfer the servings of cocktails inside and it saved the day for everyone. Dinner was sit down, the staff were on hand to assist guests and served everyone almost all at the same time. They serve one dish after the other. Suffice it to say that it was a successful event. Thanks for the quick service. And of course, the ambiance is just perfect. Enjoyed the dining experience.

00:00 04/21/23Everything about this restaurant is superb! ❤️ i guess the reviews I've read never lies. We went here last April 13, it was my mom's birthday. First, the restaurant is near Olivarez / Rotonda. It was raining that time. I felt kind of down because my original plan is to walk from our condo up to here, but when we arrived, the staff was nice. I was kind of nervous as well because it was my first time to bring my mom in this kind of restaurant 😂 lol Ambience inside was great, very classy and like a traditional Filipino house. The staff greeted us with a smile despite the rainy weather. One thing that I wasn't expecting is that they don't have any pastries here, so I had to order through Foodpanda and have it delivered there. Lol The good thing is that unlike other restaurants that have corkage fees if you bring food. Here? They don't which is why I'm so relieved. The food we ordered was just good for four persons. We had their bangus belly & tofu sisig, w/c 10/10 so tasty and generous serving and Original Kare-kare 10/10. When we didn't consume everything, we politely ask the server to put it in a take home bag, w/c they gave us bagoong for free 😂 Also, the kind staff 'Kuya JC' gave us free bulalo soup too ❤️Now, this is what I like the most about our experience in Pamana, the cake had arrived, and politely ask Kuya JC for a lighter so we can sing my mom a birthday song lol. Instead of giving us the lighter, he then went inside and we were shook because he changed the whole restos music into a Happy birthday song. All of the staff sing along with us, some of them are dancing and greeting my mom 🥹. My heart is so full that time, it wasn't part of my plan on her birthday but thank you so much for making my mom's birthday so special, Pamana ❤️ Kudos to all of your staff! We will surely dine here again ❤️ Kent-

06:58 05/13/22This is the best Filipino restaurant I have ever been to. The cook is Godlike, a super human. The staff super friendly and professional. Location beautiful, interior historical and classy. The food is cooked and served better than You can imagine. Even the water there tastes better than anywhere else. And prices are too low for such luxury quality. This restaurant is a lifetime expierence. When I left Pamana restaurant I felt like leaving paradise. 6 stars out of 5. Salamat Po! :*

04:16 01/17/23The place is perfect for intimate dining, proposal, and anything related. The ambiance is so calming and peaceful that relaxes your soul. The food was great, so delicious 😋. And the staff are very kind in assisting your needs. This place is highly recommendable! (We will go back here again and try the dining outside because when we came there it is raining so our dining was done inside but still a great experience!) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Len Artana-
17:08 12/21/22We had our small Christmas party here. The venue was nice. We were seated on a long table inside since it just rained at that time. The buffet was set up and the food was good. I loved their paella and salad, although the croutons could have been crunchier. The service was great too. marckymae arrojado-

07:23 11/14/21We went here for dinner only. Their social media management and guest entrance were a disaster, as we asked for reservation but treated it as an inquiry adn had to wait for quite some time to enter and pay entrance fee of 100 PHP per head.Nevertheless, we were still accommodate which is nice. The menu was so limited, and there were a lot of minor mishaps that were hard to miss (stains in the utensil, not working lights). Then, the major ones -- there was hair with the order of my companion and the chocolate tablea was overburnt but still served.Good thing that their Roasted Pork Belly saved the night, it was delicious. As for the price, I got it for 520 PHP which is a bit overpriced.Maybe the staff were too tired that night, but we were the first one to dine in so I'm a bit uncertain. The place is calming and peaceful. When we were there, it seems that a proposal/romantic dinner was happening which is sweet.Overall, I would advise caution when you choose Mon's Restaurant, as I don't recommend it based on experience.
