Their tokwa’t baboy (tofu and pork) was cooked perfectly. It had good lean and fat pork ratio and the sauce was well-balanced (sour-umami flavor profile). It has made an indelible impression with its signature lugaw, goto, and tokwa't baboy. Aside from these bestsellers, the restaurant is also famous for its other offerings.It is not easy getting a parking spot when you visit Dencia's. It is in the busy area beside Gaisano Ilustre and a parking area for its customers has not been considered. So getting a slot is really a matter of luck.Of course, despite this scenario, followers still flock to the resto for its famous food. They are open early in the morning for breakfast until evening. It is our first time to be back there after the pandemic locked down the city.I wish, tho that they serve their brewed coffee really hot.

But I was a bit disappointed that although the physical store has been improved, the food taste sadly has not been maintained. The lechon kawali was not the usual crispy popping skin, melty fat, and tender meat. It looked and tasted like ordinary fried pork. The pork and shrimp lomi was not the usual eggy and thick. The service was sooo slow and the bill had to be corrected because it included a cancelled item. My rating is three stars only because the place is still nostalgic. Jubert Tarre-

14:03 03/16/22Had dinner here last night. Arrived at around 6pm on a Tuesday night. One of the first customers there so got a parking space inside. But please note there are only a few parking spaces. So how was the place and food. The place was very nice with a lot of Dutch items dotted around the restaurant which also added to the great look of the place. The food menu was large.. we did phone ahead and ask what was on or off the menu. On that night most of the dishes were available so we all were able to get what we ordered off the menu. The steaks where very good.. as was the rest of the food. Maybe the salmon was a little over cooked.. so best to ask the chef to cook light if you prefer it that way. I did order bitterballen.. and... Well was a posh version of the Dutch cheap snack we all so love:).. they were filled with very tender beef.. lovely. They also have an extensive desert menu.. the Dutch apple pie was very good. The service was first rate with all the staff very accommodating. Thanks for a lovely dinner. However, we found someone who directed us to their own small private parking. After we were finished with our dinner, we had a rough time to get out; we had to inconvenience the customer who was parked behind us to let us out. When it comes to prices, I let you be the judge. They also have a private function area that you can reserve at the back if you want it to be a private function with your family and friends.As for their staff, they weren't really friendly and accomodating even though it was still early in the morning and there weren't a lot of customers inside the restaurant.I only tried one dish so far and it's their chicken and pancakes breakfast option. There wasn't a lot of meat on the chicken, it only appeared large due to the breading which was a bit disappointing. As for the pancakes, it tasted like your regular pancakes that you could make at home. I'm going to try other dishes in their menu so stay tuned for that. Jay Reyno-

When i went around to check what food they offered, there were some empty plates which they did not refill. It was only around 7pm yet they could not keep up with the demand of the customer consumption. As for the food, it was nothing too special in my opinion although I did enjoy one piece of cuisine which was the beef as the meat was tender.I must say, I did enjoy their dancing waiters. They also have occasional promos like dining in for free on your birthday with 1 full paying adult or dining in for free on your birth month with 3 full paying adults. The foods are delicious. We celebrated 2021 father's day here by ordering beef salpicao, medium rare steak, and tomato-based pasta (forgot to take a photo of this). While waiting for your food, you can watch how the chefs work inside the kitchen, which makes the experience made it more meaningful. Aside from the food, the staff complied with health and safety protocols - to another level in fact. Upon entering, you are required to submit your contact details for contact tracing purposes, then pass through their sanitation mist, and scan the QR code for the contactless menu. When the food is ready, they have envelopes on the table for you to store your masks while eating. 21:07 12/25/22Came home for a 3-week vacation and decoded to meet my college friends here. Apparently, this is a popular place for get-together and dining with family and friends. I can see the novelty of cooking your own food in a public setting, but I honestly was not very crazy about it. I always cook at home 😁 The pre-cooked food were delicious though - they always run out of tempura 😋 Not so much variety on the dessert, but overall, good food. They offer to split the sourdough bowl if you're dining with someone else, which is a nice touch. The Spicy Pork Spareribs was amazing, and the Chicken "Zurich" style always feels comforting. The pasta in Aglio e Olio and Mixed Seafood was a bit overcooked, but the taste was still good. They have a variety of dishes to choose from. Most of the dishes we ordered tasted great. The place is very wide and big.For the cons: We made a reservation for a big group, paid thru bank transfer. The staff were not responding, and it was difficult to contact them, especially during their operating hours at night. We had to go back to the place to make sure that they received our payment. The place is kinda remote. No public transport is readily available. Fortunately, their security guards are very kind in assisting us to hail a taxi. I'm not sure if they have pertinent ordinance in the city, but they close early at 10PM, with cutoff order at 9PM.Overall, our stay was good. Juan Alvarez-
14:16 03/08/23Jack's Ridge was, as always, a great visit with breathtaking views of the Davao Gulf, Samal, and Talikud as well as the city center. I was a bit bummed out that my favorite monkey was removed from its post. The kids missed it too. The restaurant had many items which were unavailable, taking away from our experience. But the staff was hard working and even offered to refill my water bottles before we left. That was a great attention to detail and truly made my experience a pleasant one. It would be pretty cool if the restaurant attendants would ask customer who are about to pay if they need a taxi so the wait would not be so long.Another suggestion would be to add a ceiling fan to the taxi waiting area. By the way, both times I visited recently, the tourist officer and entrance security personnel were OUTSTANDING and hospitable. 05:40 02/23/23I took me Girlfriend and her family out for her birthday to this place. Our first time there and we had a great time! The service is great! We got our food really fast and it was all delicious! The views from this hilltop resort are amazing! I highly recommend you putting this place on your list of places to see here in Davao City! My parents live close by, so it is always a go-to place for dinner and just to hang out for photo ops 😉 The ambiance here is great, fresh air, overlooking the sights and sounds of the city. The food tastes amazing, and the portions are just right for the price. The staff are super attentive and have the perfect sense of humor to avoid any dull moments 😁 I personally love the group that serenades the customers - hopping from one table to the next. They even allowed us to sing along, which was super fun and awesome! It's definitely an awesome place for family gatherings. I will be back again and again. Keep up the awesome work! 👌 Runar Log-
07:23 12/14/22Very nice view. And super great service. But, the food was not the best. I ordered the Beef Kaldereta, but the vegetables wasn't really cooked and also the rice, so it was hard to chew. But other than that, it was a fantastic experience over all. Thank you so much! 😍
