Real Customer Reviews at Muelle Deli and Restaurant, Iloilo City:

Prudemere Jalandoni- 11:54 10/21/22
We had a great time! The pictures speak for themselves. Muelle is super highly recommended.

Anna Krzak- 22:31 10/08/22
We tried only pasta (shrimp aglio e oglio) and it was well done and nicely served. Waiters were very professional and friendly. Restaurant is well positioned- by the river. You may choose to dine inside (air conditioned) or outside enjoying the view of the river. The only thing to complain about is how the water and wine glasses looked like.

Aronne Dominic Jiz- 07:11 09/12/22
Food was great! We had the ribs and the Tangigue steak and both were tasty and filling. Service was also good. The place is wheelchair accessible, which was good since a family member uses one, but because the way to the ramp is behind parking slots we could’ve had a bit of difficulty getting there if there had been cars parked closer to it.

Angeli Bunao- 22:13 07/20/22
Cozy place, very accommodating staff and the food is the best! Thank you will definitely dine again when I visit Ilo-Ilo in the future

Renz L- 10:35 02/20/22
Went to Muelle Deli resto for sunset viewing and early dinner. We ordered the following:-Don rite platter of 3 sausages - tastes nice. They make their own sausages, so you should taste these homemade sausages.-Pork schnitzel - crispy and tastes ok. The pork is a little firm though.-Buffalo tenderloin with gremolata - doneness is just right, and flavourful.-Beef steak rice meal - very hard to chew-calamansi juiceOverall, the ambience is nice. It has option for dining indoor and also outdoor, with lookout view on esplanade. Great for sunset viewing. They had a nice live band at night. Utensils are sealed.

Real Customer Reviews at The Mango Tree Restaurant:

Yeti Arbiz- 10:52 04/30/23
The place was really pretty - that's the only positive comment I have. We ordered crispy kangkong, mashed potatoes, garlic rice, beef salpicao, pasta negra, and pepper steak. The crispy kangkong was 90% batter, you can barely see the kangkong. It was easily 1000 calories on one plate. We could only eat like 3 pieces of it. They served the mashed potatoes together with kangkong as appetizer, so by the time the main dishes arrived, it was already cold. That was the first time I saw mashed potatoes drowned in gravy with mushrooms that were clearly straight from the can. The waiter told us the salpicao was good for 3 people but I alone could have easily finished that. It was good, not special but fairly good. The garlic rice was cold and the pasta negra was honestly bad, like we ate one forkful and had to put it on the side. Lastly, the pepper steak: they asked us how we preferred the meat and we said medium. It was well done instead. The taste was still good so we finished that. However, I could have easily gone to any bbq stand and get the same taste. Servers were nice and polite but slow. Oh, we also saw two rats chasing each other on top of the mango tree. An young mango fruit also fell on our table but fortunately missed out heads. I get that the last two items are outside their control. To summarize, we won't be coming back. I haven't been disappointed like that in a really long time.

Lizza Capaque- 11:23 09/21/22
The garden is really lovely ❤️🦋Recommended venue for special occasions such as reunions, romantic dates, weddings, etc etc.prices are reasonable naman and had a total bill of almost 8k for ~16 people (do note that we had a full course lunch for this). The staff are easy to talk to.The paella was fantastic 😍 as well as the camaron rebosado. Hototay soup is recommended as well. Will definitely come back at night. Thank you, the mango tree 😘❤️

Steven Strenkowski- 02:14 06/02/22
We enjoyed our wedding at the mango tree! The food was amazing and the service was very good! They did a great job accommodating us and all guests, everyone had an enjoyable and relaxing time! Be cautious of falling mangos though haha

Ember Peñafiel- 09:33 07/03/20
I have heard of The Mango Tree before but never really got the chance to visit and taste their food. Many told me that they have great food.So we came to try.Won't go into specifics but it is great food, nice place, fast service, and the price is right for the awesome food and serving amount.Overall, it's a place that we would go back to. Yasssss ❤❤❤

Sheila Mae Gomez- 01:24 01/09/20
I have here for events but it was my first time to come here for lunch. There was an event in the resto so we are directed to an al fresco dining experience in the garden area.We had spicy korean pork and chopseuy with crispy noodles. Also a platter of rice. The meals are good for sharing. It was a good dining experience.

Real Customer Reviews at Bavaria German Restaurant & Inn:

Chinikit M.- 12:44 04/12/23
Love this place but it changed. Food is still good. But when they served the food last time, I got disappointed with the serving. I've been eating here for years and that's a first. I understand inflation and all but it got more expensive and less serving. In my opinion, the price does not justify the serving anymore.

Huw Morgan- 05:42 04/09/23
It's ok. The interior needs a face lift and wine is only by the bottle. The bears are ok.

Walter Pickett- 10:55 03/01/23
I grew up in Bavaria. The placeThe decorations are authentic Bavarian things. The person who has created this place surely came from Bavaria. But the original owner from Bavaria is gone. The place looks like it had it's best days decades ago. Not much maintenence. The walls haven't seen fresh paint in more than a decade. There puffer fish that hangs at the bar has dust as thick as my finger. The items in the cabinet also full with dust. I did not feel comfortable. Someone created a great place in the past, now it's run with zero maintenance. The BeerWe don't drink beer in - we call it Biermass - 1 liter glasses when we go to a restaurant in Bavaria. We only have them at Bierfests. Using it in a restaurant is odd and here it gets warm. I prefer smaller glasses in the Philippines to always have cold beer.Going to a Bavarian restaurant I was really looking forward to having Bavarian beer. They had none. All they had was 1 liter glasses of local brewed draft beer. A secret recipe they've told us. Coincidentally it tastes exactly like SM Pilsen. Bavaria has the oldest breweries in the world. You can't copy brew that here. You need to offer real Bavarian beer. It is available in the Philippines and many other restaurants offer it.The foodPotato salad is made with sweet mayonnaise. A disgrace. It's exactly what differs Bavarian potato salad from potato salad of other German regions, No Mayonnaise. We use oil, vinegar, mustard, no mayonnaise, no mayonnaise, no mayonnaise and definitely no sweet mayonnaise. The rest of the food was sub ok. Nothing that reminded me of Bavaria. Many of the dishes on the menu are not Bavarian. European maybe. Portion was quite small. I left hungryDon't come here for a Bavarian experience. It's not.Beer Barrel is a place in Cebu that offers Bavarian Beers and authentic Bavarian food if you are looking for the real experience. I'm not affiliated.

they have a room for a smoker like me,,not all the one who dine is well known about the food u serve,,if u could translate in other languages and explain how it will cook for Filipino and foreigner much better..not all the one who dine knew some are just for fun or experience

Franz Eemil Casabuena- 11:07 12/28/22
Place is so cozy. Food is great. Beer even better. Must-try. Butcher platter and meat platter are recommended. Chicken wings are good as well - you can ask to separate the sauce.

Manfred Klose- 04:41 12/10/22
The food is quite good. I compare it to austery Mandurriao called Vivian kitchen. The advantage there is a higher quality in environment, cleanliness and amenities like pools for leisure... So after all I recommend Vivian Kitchen in Austery subd.

Real Customer Reviews at Ponsyon by breakthrough:

August Invercargill- 16:51 05/12/23
Decided to take lunch here on a weekday. The place was empty. The crews was welcoming and are happy to assist. The restaurant is clean. A crew presented us with the menu and took our order. It was served hot. Waiting for food took about 15-20mins. We were served with a complementary kropek. The chicken binakol was great. Meat is very tender. Pork estofado was also great. The grilled tangigue was abit off for me - I wish I ordered the kinilaw. We ordered half of the serving which is good for 2-3 pax. There are alot of other menus to choose from but I forgot to take a photo of the menu. Food prices are reasonable.Over all this is a great restaurant for an ilonggo food indulgence. Would highly recommend.

I was introduced to this place by Filipino. We ordered scallops and oysters which are very good with cheap price. I really enjoyed KBL soup, flavor of the soup is sour yet refreshing ! KBL soup is the local dish here. The pork ribs is also good. They served food really quick as well !

Christian Laureano (Ian)- 09:39 09/19/18
At first we were eyeing the original Breakthrough place which is the one that was near the beach. But due to time constraints we can not visit that branch.Luckily they have another branch near where we stayed. We got there right in time for dinner, the place was not that big tho. But jam packed! The food did not disappoint. We ordered the fried rice, the bininagoongang baboy, a hito(catfish) and i forgot whether it was sisig or ginaling.Must try the Hito, it's very yummy

Real Customer Reviews at Roberto's:

Kathy Rentino- 05:20 05/09/23
People are lining up to get a taste of their siopao. The dining area is full, so we opted to eat in the car. There is a stall in SM City Iloilo by then lower level if you just want to taste before heading to their place in Iloilo proper.

ludy ambito- 16:27 01/31/23
We went in January, during the Dinagyang Festival. We ordered King and Queen size siopao. They are not really big. They are just like any other normal siopao. Not tasty either. Even Lomi, not good. The employees, they don't seem happy. Maybe that's why it tastes like that. 🙁

Carla Michelle Lui- 04:50 01/26/23
Super tasty and it's big, and the Queen siopao also has bacon, egg, and other fillings. The queue can get quite long because a lot of people line up to buy because it's really good.

Leza Andrea- 14:32 01/25/23
I’m not really a fan of siopao but you should try their famous siopao here which is the Queen siopao for only Php 128. I tried their meatballs and it was surprisingly good. I’ll definitely order it again. I also wanted to try some of their rice meals next time.Btw bringing this or any meat to Bacolod is strictly prohibited. We ended up eating ours outside the port. Lol.

Charlotte Noquiao (wllkrstnchrltt)- 04:00 07/03/22
Taking a long stroll along downtown Iloilo, you should not miss this stop. Long queues are usually observed on peak hours such as lunch so I suggest you visit after. Grab yourself the famous queen siopao, full with meat and other ingredients. Meatballs on stick is also a must try. Good for pasalubong 👍🏼

Real Customer Reviews at Tatoy's Manokan and Seafood Restaurant:

Aleli Rosario- 09:50 11/07/22
Tatoy's is a must-go to place when visiting Iloilo. Since my first visit to Iloilo in the 90's, I have never failed to dine at Tatoy's. There is still a view of the sea at the branch that we ate in.Order their baked scallops, grilled atay, and kinilaw. Memorable dishes. We also ordered baked talaba (I thought there the cheese overpowered the taste of the talaba); a plate of lechon (just ok); chicharon bulaklak (I tasted better elsewhere); grilled blue marlin (look is tops but taste disappointed me a bit); inihaw na pusit (above average); and achara. Why is it just a 4? We ordered Leche flan - we waited and then cancelled because they said, they couldn't get the supply. We wanted to order green mango but they didn't have alamang either.Nonetheless, I'd still eat here when I travel again to Iloilo. Their baked scallops is worth coming back for again and again.

roselie ls- 07:27 10/09/22
Price - Honestly, it's not budget friendly. I find it a bit expensive. The place was really hyped up.What we ordered: Platter of rice (₱100), Talaba (Stamed - ₱180), Lechon Baboy (₱360), Batikulon & Atay (₱70 each). The servings for each was good for 2-3 paxTalaba was fresh and delicious, and paired nicely with their vinegar. That's why we got another serving.Lechon Baboy was great, from the crispy skin to the flavorful meat. As in the meat (without the skin) tastes really good even without any dipping sauce. Even their dipping sauce was good, not too sweet. I like their lechon compared to Ping Ping's in La Loma. LoLs.Batikulon wasn't that great since it's too gamey. And Atay looked dry, but it was actually delicious. The place is really spacious with a good ambience. You could choose where you want to eat. It was clean, well ventilated, and despite the many tables, it's not crowded.Overall, though a bit expensive, it was still worth it. It's still recommend that you visit them but be prepared to spend. For the 2 of us, we spent ₱960 here. 😂😊

Glasses Guy- 17:28 09/02/22
Good food. Nice place. Kinda funny how the staff were all at a corner pretty much. Can't blame them. It wasn't really busy hours when I came there to eat. Good price honestly.

Bien Cabaro- 23:26 05/02/22
If you are from Manila, this place can be like Dampa, and the food prices are not reasonable for a city/town near the source of seafood. I still recommend that you go to Capiz for quality but cheap seafood. As for the service, we find the servers to be rude and wont take a glance at you even if you raise your hand and we even had like 5 times follow up for some of our food. The place is just popular in Iloilo but I find other restaurant better than this (like Ondoy's). Overall, not recommended.

Jackie Lao- 07:56 02/11/22
A place to eat seafoods and most of all their specialty is the Native Chicken! It's a good place for family gatherings and bonding with friends. They have a swimming pool for children and adults to enjoy swimming. Convention center for seminars and meetings.

Curt Choy- 12:26 08/27/22
Troi Oi might just be the best Vietnamese Restaurant in the nation. It's as authentic as it can get. Pho was well made and portions were really big.Service was really great too!

Ariel Sefil- 04:08 04/02/22
If you're looking for an authentic Vietnamese resto in the city, Troi Oi is the best place for you. Their signature rice noodle soup will bring Vietnam closer than ever before. They start accepting orders at 11 am sharp.

E. M. Buens- 07:28 03/23/22
I have been going here for more than 3 years already. Even when the pandemic came, I ordered via food delivery from this restaurant. I must say, the food is always fresh and non pretentious. What u see is what you get. I am a fan of vietnamese cuisine and this restaurant is included among my recommendations. The salad, spring rolls, beef pho all freshly prepared. The service crew are approachable, always with a smile on their faces and the ambience at night felt alive with their in house entertainment.

Sheila Mae Gomez- 01:30 12/16/21
Troi Oi is slowly becoming my fave resto in the city.Everything is just so flavorful and healthy. Definitely no grease and all looks appetizing. The pricing may be a little higher than other food places but all worthy for your money. My personal favorites are the pho, pork skewers and fresh spring rolls. The rest on the menu are all worth the try.

I went here to celebrate my birthday.I think we waited around 20-30 minutes before someone attend to us but that was Valentines day so I understand. There are many options we wanted to try but not available, that time I think I changed 2 or 3 items.the ambiance was the highlight of this place even if you wait long, you won't even notice which is a plus for this restaurant. From the reptiles to those cute cats and even when you're sitted anywhere you look will be filled with joy seeing these animals.*Garden Salad has Zing to it and every bite has crunch.*Mushroom Soup is a must! so good.*Mango Shake is a bit tangy to my taste but still nice.*chicken in a basket is okay nothing special for me*carbonara is creamy as it should be.The food is good for family serving therefore good for your buck! 🙂

jouiecanonero- 13:34 10/02/22
Nice place. Your family especially your kids will surely love it because they will see different kinds of reptiles like snakes, alligator, crocs, and turtles. Also there's different kinds of fish and different breeds of cats and different species of spiders.

Dragonkid Gacha- 03:47 07/13/22
Love their food. They make a great Matcha frappe. Their squid is a must try, and their back ribs are good. The animals are amazing, all beautiful. Especially the cats and ferrets. I do hope they take proper care of all the animals. The kids enjoyed this place. Maybe it could use a few birds?

Shereal Ferrer-Vicho- 14:03 05/17/22
Upon entry, the place feels cool, maybe because of the aquariums and fishes. It's a free trip to mini zoo while enjoying their delicious food. Great place for kids. At the other side, you can really sing.. there a jungle out there!! Super love the place!

Jared Mark Lagahit- 05:28 05/02/22
The food is mediocre but the ambiance, the place and the services are all great. The place is especially beautiful and perfect dates or outing with kids or friends, though it may feel a bit cramped and crowded especially during peak lunch hours. The food isn't anything special though, i figured I'd visit this cafe for the beautiful fishes, snakes and reptiles.

In my experience when I dined at vikings iloilo..while entering the entrance, I could really feel the accommodating staff..and when the server guided the two of us to the table I had reserved, you could really feel good service. yes. then he offered me all the sections of the buffet. so I really appreciate the good service.. then we started to get foods. I was amazed that there was so much food when you chose.. while we were both getting food, they were really offered food chefs all have delicious food so you can really feel good service all staff vikings iloilo❤❤❤

We went late, around 9pm. Some portions of the food were cold. Meats should be covered to keep warm. No fish selections, no lobster selections. When they're short on portions (because it's late), prices should be lowered. Paying 20.00US for 5 people, for less service is not fair. Advise: don't come late!

They refill food fast and remove plates right away after you are done. Really good service and food. There are some things that can be improved but all worth it specially with the Lamb.

New normal review. It was a good food experience. Options are really attractive to the eyes and filling on the stomach. I have always been a fan of dumplings so that's my fave station and the desserts section too. Over-all, worth the price and experience. Good to dine like a viking again after the long lockdown. Please always observe minimum health standards.

Dined here three times during my 6 days stay in Iloilo. Their paluto fish dishes are my favourite due to its freshness and flavour. Price point is affordable in comparison to other talabahan but the quality is good. Washrooms are clean, staffs are respectful and attentive. Their baked scallops or talaba are a must try. Their dishes, combined with garlic fried rice, will definitely entice you to eat some more. Will come back here again on my next Iloilo trip.

CK Mariano (CK)- 14:32 02/28/22
Cheap seafood restaurant! The price didn't changed even after 2 years.Talaba is fresh, and they have a very good portion.Cheap and delicious. recommended! instead of eating out in a restaurant in a mall.

Marie Martin- 22:11 03/14/19
accessible as it is along the national highway. this place serves tasty seafoods menu. they have two. kinds of dining area, air-conditioned and non air-conditioned room, there is an additional payment if you dine in the air conditioned room. the place is always full especially during dinner but you can do prior reservation.friendly and accommodating staff.

Noel Babas- 23:29 03/01/19
It's located in a new trendy place in Ilo-ilo. Their specialty is talaba which is really out of this world. Make sure to order their baked talaba/oysters. They have the biggest and quality oysters I've ever tried. You may want to consider or not, their sizzling shredded crab meat since I understand that they cannot totally separate the shells from the crab meat. You will then have to spit bits and pieces of the shell. But what the heck, you'll know that it's genuine crab meat and not a substitute. Overall, it was a good experience in Ilo-ilo and the price is reasonable. Not to mention, we ordered a lot for our big group but the food came out fast! They seem to be always ready. A big factor for me!
