It is a typical buffet offering Japanese grill experience with sushi and tempura on the list. There are Chinese fusion in the menu like Yangzhou rice, dimsum, and glass noodles or bihon. Desserts like leche flan is obvious for its extenders due to its consistency, same as to no bake cakes. Since this resto focuses on grill offerings, I would suggest that better the management review and evaluate how the meat is being marinaded. 11:10 12/03/19I dined here with family members in 2016 while vacationing in Manila. Came back in 2019. It's practically the same food selection for 3 years. Good thing though is it's reasonably priced, has courteous staff, and relatively clean & tidy place. I recommend this place for family or group dining. It'll be worth your budget. Also, for tourists staying within Pasay City or Parañaque area, it's worth the try if you want to experience the Filipino way of "eat-all-you-can." The food though is not exclusively Filipino. As you might guess from the name, it's mostly a red-meat place, although there's a fish and a chicken option, in case you're in a group with a member who would look for that. The food is good, prices are very reasonable, and service is competent.The name might also make you think that it's a steakhouse like Melo's or Outback. But think more of the "sizzling" part. Its fare is more along the lines of the usual sizzling-on-a-hot-plate meat dishes rather than real steaks. I'd actually give it 3.5 stars if that were possible, because I gave Pepper Lunch 4, and I think that the food is somewhat better there. But what a big disappointment to start asked for ice for our drink and never received any. Next the food came out.. mind you the slogan is " the house that fried chicken built" the very small piece of chicken that came on my plate was ice cold. Felt like it came right from the refrigerator. I asked the waiter why its cold. He brought my whole plate back to kitchen. Awesome food, and halo halo to finish it off, we may have stood out in the place as there is only 2 of us and a table full of food, and we almost finished it all, a lady came out from the back , not a waitress , and asked us how the food was, our answer was “ delicious “. Staffs are courteous and always pick up empty plates on our table. Better to do a reservation to be prioritized because there are a lot of walk-in customers. 12:21 02/10/23One of my favorite Japanese restaurants. Their Katsu is very delicious but my favorite there is their Mozzarella sticks. When ordering, they will give you an order form that you need to fill out - be very careful about this coz it's a bit confusing without the photos. 07:57 11/22/22I loved the katsu since they offer the option of giving you the fatty version or the lean meat only part so its not too greasy. Food is very yummy. They do have delicious sauce and I did make my own as advertised, but I just recently found out other katsu shops offer this too. My uncle commented the rice is not sticky enough to be japanese but that’s just him. I’m not picky enough about rice to notice that.Also long waiting lines during mealtimes. The price is expensive, but I believe this is due to the location.We had a bad experience because their bbq pork smelled bad when it was served, and when we called the waiter's attention, he confirmed that it really smells bad and immediately took it away from our table. The manager approached us as well to apologize and informed us that they will replace the pork bbq.Please check your food or smell it before eating, especially if you have children with you.On the good side, their waiters are courteous and attentive.
