Nice place, convenient and good food as well 🙂. Worth it 😋

Shannah Minor- 12:11 11/22/22
My family and I are just visiting in the Philippines for 2 weeks and we were recommended to eat at this place. This place is the best. The food is absolutely delicious and the price is just right. Not only that, the restaurant is very clean and the staff are very friendly. Needless to say, we’re eating there breakfast, lunch and dinner. I really like this place!

Joy Lagac- 13:46 07/08/22
Good place for group dine-ins. They accept reservations and pre-orders. We opted to place our our order in advance and pay in partial. The accept GCash payments. They honor SC discounts. Meals are good, huge servings and affordable price. Chicken tastes good.

Erl D- 03:17 06/26/22
Food and drinks taste great. The pasta was a bit soggy but tasted really good. Chicken Fajitas Pizza and Pecan Caramel Cheesecake are awesome. They also have decent coffee.

ruruchi- 02:31 12/02/21
The place looks comfy and the food is very affordable. We ordered mushroom soup that came with two garlic bread. The beef salpicao was a bit weird to my taste probably because of the hotdogs so that's a bit meh for me.The fillet mignon was okay for it's price. It would be nice if the lady waitress serving us would smile a bit and not just pit food in our table and turn her back immediately. :)Overall, it's a good place to eat if your looking for a quick bite or an affordable price for lunch or dinner.

Paul Van Itterbeeck- 08:06 11/29/21
A very nice restaurant with excellent food, beverages and a very friendly service. All this at very moderate prices and you have a great choice of local and international dishes.

Real Customer Reviews at Max's Restaurant - Olongapo:

Pearly- 10:36 05/03/23
The staff are nice and friendly. They are willing to give options to some food to make it vegetarian. The taste of the sizzling tofu is really good compared to other restaurants.

Kris Tarr- 09:44 05/03/23
The staff was friendly and professional. The food was delivered very slowly, but it was well worth the wait as it was very tasty. Better than at most other Max's locations. Very clean restaurant. Tons of parking space available in the mall.

Helmut Klocke- 10:03 12/14/22
chicken chori ordered on the menu it is with vegetables. it was served with rice. we complained we were told it is always with rice. Vegetables like in the picture were refused. better avoid bad restaurant

RJ O- 03:04 11/05/22
Max's been around forever.and every trip to the Philippines we go there. But Max's has become mediocre.nothing special anymore.portions small.food tasty but not special.seems Max's is a commercial sell out.the more we come the more regular it is.Dont get me wrong it's still good chicken. But not better then the 25 other chicken places 8n the mall

onat!- 09:24 10/13/22
Our go-to merienda spot on the mall. Usually not crowded after the lunch rush and with the recent state of businesses, majority of the menu is now available.Their Pancit canton, lumpiang sariwa with Mais con Hielo or Sago gulaman is top tier merienda combo. Their lomi is also incredibly livery.

Went for dinner. Good food. Selection between Japanese or Mexican food. Had the katsu udon, was pretty good. Will be back to try the Mexican food. Only downside is if you plan on getting dine-in, there's only 2 tables inside so you could be waiting to eat-in around busy times. Was told most if their business is take out/delivery.

I liked their service, their food is good and the location is ok. The dining area is very limited but maybe because they just started, for sure they have a plan for expansion. The ambiance is also nice. I think the pricing is just right. I will definitely come back for some of their food. ☺️

Good food but place was hot because it's open air.

I tried some birthday cake from here and I would say overall it was average compared to others I've tried. It was far too sweet and the sponge was not as light as others I've tried. Unfortunately I wouldn't be tempted to try any other types.

Lily Valey- 20:22 03/23/23
Food is delicious and with big serving. I tried their muffins for take out. They were good as well, soft and not so sweet.

Cj Mania- 15:10 03/12/22
This is a restaurant that I knew since 2004. Their food are really delicious and the serving size was really big. The price is what we call in the philippines "sulit", it is about getting the amount of what you've paid for. Right now in year 2022, the design of the restaurant is upgraded and improved. More chairs, new aircon and etc. The staff was also accommodating. Finally, it is a must recommend restaurant on my personal view and opinion. You should try it yourselves, you will not regret it. Btw, i love their Hard Tacos and Large Iced Tea. Find your favorite dish when you visit their restaurant.

Great food, great ownership, my resident restaurant when I'm in Bario Barreto. Updating my review... That's the - 🎯 Hit - when you go to a restaurant severally and always delicious 😋 worth it

Breavis- 06:39 02/25/23
Ordered the sliders, kitchen sink, taco platter, and chicken adobo. Overall it was pretty good food and service. The sliders were a little disappointing and the tacos weren't authentic Mexican style.

Real Customer Reviews at Wild Herbs Restaurant:

Kenneth Chua- 03:19 04/11/23
Very underrated Thai Restaurant! This place deserves 6 stars for their food!!When we were there, no other customers were dining 🙁 food wait time is around 10-20mins which was standard for a non fast food.Service was great, food were affordable. Their chicken kebab was out of this world! Maybe having a sauce option would be a plus, but it can be enjoyed as is. We also had the pad thai, which was 9/10. And the curry, around 8.5/10. Overall, it was a pleasant experience! Everything plus rice only costed approx 1300php!Interior was okay, a bit gloomy tho. TVs were running different channel which is a bit confusing.Ambience: 4/5Food: 6/5Service: 4.8/5Suggestions: 1-2 channel for the TVs, more modern menu type (has recommendations and variety, less description)

Jill Cheng- 10:08 12/06/22
Love the place! Nice people, very accommodating. Food is amazing! Generous serving as well. And don’t forget to try their iced lemon tea, sooo refreshing and not too sweet.

jacqueline ranullo- 08:19 09/29/22
the food was great especially the pad thai... although i would appreciate it more if it's with a generous amount of ground peanuts as thai food is known for those. Rio the person who assisted us was very accomodating. will definitely come back

Steve Carver- 13:32 05/29/22
Enjoyed several meals here. Meals uncommonly tasty. A variety in the menu but I usually have the Pad Thai. Clean kitchen and restrooms. Wifi available. Attentive staff. Live music on weekends.

My family has been going here for more than 4 decades, this is our favorite restaurant for a quick bite, sometimes we order out as well to eat at home. Aside from the dishes posted below, we usually order Porkchop barbeque meal, chopseuy, chicken egg foo young and their fantastic cheese burger.

Had to try wimpys in olongapo.. why? Cause we were looking for a local place with local food, and something not quite fast food.

Steven Cristobal- 14:01 09/09/22
Talking about fast food at its best along Magsaysay Ave and Rizal Avenue, both major arteries in Olongapo City, WHIMPY'S is the place to go. Their Lomi and Clubhouse sandwich IS THEIR BEST SELLER!

MrMarvinford1102- 06:59 05/23/19
Mura at masarap. Open until midnight for those who eat dinner late at night. Sotanghon soup is one of my favorite. But very crowded, people of Olongapo just love to dine here everytime. Very low chance of seeing this place unoccupied.

Great fast food restaurant lots of varieties of food to choose on from main course, soup, salads, and deserts. They have function rooms for gatherings and parties like wedding. Clean and sanitized area.

Jeff Balmes- 17:03 02/01/19
Good tasting food are being served in their eat all you can buffet. Place is clean. Suited for gatherings and celebrations as they have function halls as well. Though they need to improve on serving/refilling time as the delay sometimes causes customers to lose appetite. Parking space is also a challenge. But this place still remains as one of our favorite restos to dine in.

Real Customer Reviews at 1925 GASTROPUB:

Steve Carver- 10:24 03/28/23
Great food. Music too loud.We enjoyed the shrimp scampi, vegetable lumpia, Caesar salad, chicken salad, and seafood pasta. Nicely decorated inside and out. Clean restrooms, wifi available. Sit inside or out. Parking available. Our issue with the music. It was a nice group and they played music perfect for a restaurant. The instruments were at a good sound level, however the female vocalist was turned up way too high. A good singer, volume made my ears hurt. Manager should take charge of this. Don't tell them to be quieter, set a limit on the amplifier.A guest got up and sang, a staffer turned her volume down. Band vocalist comes back, staff turns the volume up.Maybe guests like it that way. What you will get is only guests who like loud music.

Pinky Luna- 03:58 03/19/23
the place could use a little sprucing up. seats are almost 'cushioned out'.didn't eat, just had a drink. just glad they served frozen margarita and mojito at 10am though 😁🥳

Mitchell Bates- 12:42 03/12/23
We went here with my in-laws for a pre-dinner beer and appetizer. 4 beers, calamari, a shake and chicken poppers 1430php. We were literally the only table in the place and still had to wait… so the service is not great. The calamari was typical for Phil… not a crunchy batter and very chewy. The chicken poppers were decent. Pretty cool looking place, but overpriced for what you get and the service you receive… I wouldn’t recommend.

Nicole Yeo- 15:11 01/26/23
glad i trusted my instincts and came here. the mango smoothie was amazing!the 1925 classic burger was also the bombs with good nicely buttered brioche buns, along with the wings and potato croquettes!!! they were my favourites.the pesto pasta was a tad oily and peanut coated chicken was not my cup of tea. but it may be yours! it’s crunchy nonetheless.

Jing- 07:41 07/06/22
I remember food here used to taste great but for some reason it somehow lost what used to make it great. What we ordered: Malunggay Pesto Pasta, 1925 Burger, Adobo Burrito, Corned Beef (Breakfast)Upside: serving sizes, service staffDownside: the place looks tired, food doesn't taste good (except for the corned beef breakfast plate), you would expect more for its price pointDo we recommend the place? No.Are we going back? Not sure.

Love their seafood overload - crab, shrimp and scallops in one. The sauce was amazing! We went around lunch time so there weren't much people dining in at that time. They have a place for dinein that is air-conditioned.Very limited parking space. Just 10-15 mins from Central Park Reef.Friendly staff.

Small air-conditioned room has 2 tables that serve 7 pax each. Very good seafood dishes were worth their affordable price. Very courteous staff. Roadside car parking may be challenging. This is a must-try when in Subic / Olongapo.
