00:59 03/28/23Dagupeña located at Calasiao,Pangasinan is an old restaurant run by a family in the locality. They serve traditional cuisine. What we ordered during our visit was the Binagongang Crispy Pata and Crispy Sizzling Bangus top with toasted Garlic. Both dishes were exceptionally prepared and really tasted good. Both are all time favourites by locals dining in this place. Very recommendable, 5 stars! Reiner Bernal (rein)-
12:17 03/23/23Barely any people eat here anymore. Most food items are unavailable. Most food we got was bland. It isn't what it used to be. The place was dark inside. The exterior was the only saving grace for this place. Susan Casipit-
22:24 01/16/23The famous restaurant has mellowed in terms of service. The service crew are not prompt to ask the orders. The serving is small but in fairness, the food tastes good and we still love to eat there because they have the famous bangus recipe. monch gupit-

05:17 11/11/22Honestly not even sure how this restaurant has 4.0 stars. I was intrigued and excited to be going to a restaurant that had such a long history in Dagupan, just to be incredibly disappointed the moment we stepped in.The venue itself is stunning, keeping to its historical roots. But once we were inside, no one greeted us even though there were staff walking about. They looked as though they didn’t want to acknowledge us being there. After we called for service, we were directed to a table that was still dirty from the last patrons who sat there. Meanwhile, looking around, they had less than 5 other people eating but all other tables were in the same state that our table was in.When the table was finally cleaned and we were ready to order, we were told that half the things we wanted weren’t available on the (already incredibly limited) menu. While our wait wasn’t terrible, and the food was actually pretty decent, the FLIES. THERE WERE SO MANY FLIES. Mind you, this restaurant is a closed area venue. If it were outdoors, it would be understandable. But seeing the flies all over the other tables and then landing on our food regardless of how many times we swatted, was so off putting. The lack of hygiene left much to be desired, and personally put me off eating entirely (I dread to imagine the hygiene practises in the kitchen if the seating area was as bad as it was!).All in all, I had high hopes for such a well known and lauded restaurant, only to be so disappointed. We might as well have been eating at a street food eatery.

16:19 10/31/22Amazing food and great service. A lot of selection to choose from. I really liked the Filipino food here and the Bangus especially. Their Oyster sisig was really good as well. They have a crocodile that they feed here as well as fish that could be fed. They had a two people provide entertainment as well while eating dinner. The lights were great for pictures and looked really nice at night. Michelle Fernandez-
06:27 10/18/22We had our team dinner here and the food was good, they serve vegan food too which for me is great! But because I can only reserve seats and not food in advance, the food will only be prepared once the guests have arrived. All in all, great experience and very accommodating staff, specially Maricel and Angelica who were patient in complying with our Finance requirement for liquidation. 14:26 06/02/22The place is "nice". Feels/looks kind of old already but a new wing is under construction. It's just sad that Bangus and around 40% of the food in the menu are not available, hence the 3 stars. K J-

11:07 05/17/23My first visit to Pangasinan was truly memorable, especially since it was my first time dining at Matutina-Gerry. I must say, the food there was exceptional. I absolutely adored their kare-kare dish, which left me feeling completely satisfied after going from ravenous hunger to a state of fullness. The restaurant itself was also impressive, boasting a spacious interior that provided a comfortable dining experience. Furthermore, I was pleased to find ample parking available, making the visit all the more convenient. Justine Dongayao-
10:13 01/10/23Interiors: Features a post-modern design restaurant. Looks clean and is air-conditioned. Perfect for family dining and place to conduct meetings while dining. Ambiance is a plus. (4.7/5)Food: Cooked perfectly and delicious. However, serving size is quite small (categorized as good for 3 but sometimes it can only be good for 1, if you are all male in your group) (3/5)Service: Staffs and servers and very accomodating, neat-looking and entertaining. (4.7/5)Price: Most can not afford their price ($$$$). For a group of 10 pax, our bull reached 4,000.00 php +. Good thing rice is cheaper which is a plus. The buttered talaba, adobo pusit, pakbet, buttered shrimps and chili crab are the best. The service is unmatched. The staff truly cares about your experience. Both you can see customers on each table and venues are fully air conditioned. It is a nice place to dine with variety of menus, desserts and drinks. Mitchie de Vera-
19:16 11/14/22After hearing mass in Manaoag, we've decided to have lunch here. When we arrived, the place was jam-packed but luckily we were able to park.We had to wait for about 30 minutes to be seated and we were in one of their air-conditioned rooms. It was hot so the AC definitely helped in making the meal enjoyable. We've ordered while waiting but still had to wait for the food to arrive. But it was worth the wait as everything was delicious! The staff were super accommodating, and friendly too!Must try when you're in Pangasinan! Fred Mosquida-

14:55 04/12/22Food is great and there are a lot of choices. There is also a small pasalubong store in front. The place is air-conditioned. The price of the food is just right. I have uploaded their menu for reference (please take note that the prices may change anytime). I personally enjoyed the honey ginger squid! My companions also find their Seafood Fiesta Platter delicious. We also tried the Sinigang sa Malaga, and it was the first time I tasted a diff style of Sinigang - definitely not your ordinary sinigang. I liked it. It's always nice to try the dishes that I can't usually order in our hometown. We also got to try the kinilaw, crispy hipon and steamed veggies - all good. I am happy to have visited this restaurant. It was worth it! Boy RayBan-

03:04 01/16/22I was so hungry and very excited to eat when we visited the resto so I wasn't able to take lots of photos for this review. But the drive all the way to Dagupan in search of the best grilled bangus was so worth it. Ang saraaaaap! Their bagoong isda was sooo yummy too! Kept looking at the dishes being brought to tables of the other customers and everything looked delish! Was salivating before our own orders arrived. The restaurant was so cozy and homey, and felt like eating in your own home during a special occasion like fiesta or new year. The servers were very friendly, attentive, and had no issue with small talk. Loved the vibe of the place and staff. Experience was superb. :)The restaurant is in front of a beach resort, so you will enjoy some beach vibes once you step out, and feel the sand in your toes when you get to the street parking. 01:56 03/20/19Because it is quite a popular food destination, parking can be a challenge at noon. We went early to avoid this problem.Food is traditional, popular folks Filipino food. As Pangasinan is one of the country’s havens for fish ponds raising Bangus/milk fish, this fish easily becomes the province’s more popular produce. Add to this would shrimps, crabs, oysters from the sea and beautiful and fresh vegetables.Enjoy 🥂

04:45 04/02/23Very sulit!! We are 8 adults and 2 kids, paid almost 4,000+pesos for the seafood boodle fight + river cruise!! Even tho it's 38C and very sunny out you wont feel the heat because of the fresh wind while cruising along the river. The river cruise lasted almost 1 hour so enough time to eat, enjoy the view and take videos/photos! 🙂 Melissa Previte-

15:20 01/07/23Great dine-in place especially during dinner with live band. Great selections as well of seafood plates and for-share meals, including its beverages. 23:55 11/13/22For the visit last Nov 13 2022:Service was really slow. We had to wait a while before the first food orders got to our table. I'm guessing it was because of the Sunday crowd but things like that would have been factored in by a restaurant that has been in business since 1986 right?Food was OK. Not mind blowing but did not suck at least. It's always fun eating out and especially when eating by the water. So this was a treat for me. Cholo Nuke (Cholo)-

06:27 12/02/21Dishes taste just right for the price. Although I expected more flavor since seafood in the area are readily available. We noticed butter or margarine flavor in most of the dishes served. Rice served is a bit more moist. Al fresco dining by the river sure is a plus, you can watch and also catch the fishes. Service is ok, large and clean toilet room. Spacious parking space. There was also a monkey caged, he looks sad I hope they give him more banana. 😆

08:38 02/22/23We went here after the mass on Manaoag as it was the highest rated restaurant nearby. Parking slots are nice, just in front of the restaurant with a very helpful guard. The food and the service are top notch. The foods we ordered were really good. As for the atmosphere, it really gives that "hardin sa paraiso" vibe. Lots of spot to take pictures at. Overall the experience was really good, 10/10 would recommend to those nearby Sharon Bernabe-

Don Henley Mejia-
22:16 09/25/22This place is easy to find as there were a lot of cars parked alongside the road (both left and right). About 10 mins drive from Manaoag Church. Overall of the venue is really great seems really well maintained and staffs were accomodating once you entered. The place itself had alot of places to take good pictures with also have a live band every Sunday I guess. The food was fresh especially the seafoods, one menu I will suggest when you go there would be the "Paraiso Rice" which I can definitely vouch that you can say its worth the price. Other menu were good but a bit of pricey. Try to order platter/group meals if you want to save instead. Overall I will say I'll definitely eat again in this place and it is highly recommendable. Just a tip, food for 4-6 persons can average to 2k Php depending on your appetite. 🙂 Anthony Corpuz-

02:18 03/19/232 stars. The shower wasn’t really working. Would described it as water dripping instead of a shower. The toilets were clogged and we have to call someone for help. The fridge made a weird sound past midnight and we were all alarmed because it sounded like something bad would happen.2 stars because the restaurant staff were great. View was good from the restaurant. We ordered: crispy pata, chopsuey, tempura, calamares. However, instead if chopsuey - pinakbet was served. We politely said that it was the wrong order and mentioned that they don’t have to replace it as we don’t want to waste the meal but one of the ladies gave us a complimentary chopsuey for the wrong serving.Wouldn’t recommended for hotel accommodation. There’s a lot more accommodation in the surrounding area. But would suggest to try their restaurant. Noy See-
07:10 03/06/23We have been visiting this place whenever we go to the city of Alaminos. The venue is just a few meters away from Lucap wharf or the park so the idea of enjoying the park's view and having dinner right after sounds great. Peak hours, I think, are usually dinnertime. Well, the availability of tables is not a problem because they have a wide place and space to choose from. One near the sea that is cold and windy at night, one located inside ideal for guests with babies, one all fresco type with coconuts mimicking a peaceful nature-lover environment, and another by the sea. I almost forgot their facade where we take pictures with the fam bam. They have many staff to assist you, that is for sure. Just make sure to get their attention first when you need them. Parking space? They have it and if in case you run out of parking space, you may want to consider the wharf parking area. Their restrooms are presentable and clean. Yes! They have tissues, too! Payment is cash basis only and pets are not allowed no matter how cute and lovable looking they are. Angelica Olegario-
09:55 02/26/23The food was alright but the staffs were friendly and great. I didn’t really get to eat anything since I didn’t have the appetite but the lechon kawali was awesome. There were a lot of seafood ventors. mae dc-
06:20 01/08/237 out of 9 of us got food poisoning...The food is very delicious and the prices okay, but I think your seafoods, bulalo, chicken are not fresh. Or maybe the water ? When I'll remember this restaurant I'll only remember the horrible experience. If you have a fragile stomach please don't come here. Emelyn Mangohig-
07:14 11/25/22Restaurant with a view. 👌 the food is good and the service is swift and efficient. We stayed overnight in the resort. Its proximity to the tourism office in Alaminos is a big plus. The view from the restaurant is spectacular- the ocean, boats, tourists and The Hundred Islands . The parking space provides a secure spot for your vehicle. Overall, it's a good restaurant.
