Real Customer Reviews at ASIONG SIZZLING HOUSE:

Edelyn Lacaz- 23:34 04/10/23
The place is very easy to find. Food is great and their service is excellent. I tried their beef pares and the meat is tender. The sauce is not too salty and tastes just right.

vinanbaltazar- 15:18 03/05/23
Craving for chicken and pork bbq? HAI PIO serve it for you. Located in the busy streets of Sta. Cruz, Manila, the restaurant offers a variety of food to choose from, they have soup dishes, grilled meats and squid, and other Filipino delicacies like sisig, pares, mami, and papaitan. They also offer some side dishes and of course desserts. It is quite pricey compared to some competitors like Mang Inasal but definitely a must try since they have their own flavors. I could say that their meat is tender and flavorful but serving size is quite disappointing. Service is fast and staff are approachable and enthusiastic. I hope they will have more customers and branches to come.

Rancer Valles- 14:44 01/29/23
I read all the reviews from last 2-3 years unfortunately it's not the same now, the facility is now kind of smear and the price is not worth anymore, they served us coke from 1.5L bottles then seal it on milk tea cup taste like water with coke the food is average.

Real Customer Reviews at Rosas Pancitan:

Maggie Santillan- 07:49 05/16/23
Nice experience to eat here, lots of people and queue but honest review, their sotanghon is overrated because of social media. The taste is just ok, for me matabang lasa but nothing is special with their sotanghon, same level of taste with other sotanghon in other places.

Eizen Barleta- 10:51 04/16/23
Definitely, a must-try food place in Quiapo! Rosas Pancitan is best known for their sotanghon soup, although they also offer rice cakes and other treats. Each serving costs at least P50 only.Expect the stall to be busy and packed with customers. This means you have to wait to get seated and served. We ordered the sotanghon with egg. The soup was everything. I’m not fond of sotanghon noodles but what they serve is truly tasteful. The broth is rich—you can taste the meaty flavor with hints of spices. It’s probably the best food place I’d been to in Quiapo so far.

Hungry Two Travel- 04:22 03/26/23
Right in the heart of Quiapo, down a busy street, great location for noodles. There’s a number of stools to sit on, it’s quite busy so just wait until one frees up. Can get your noodles with added egg and/or pork for small extra, but worth it! Very flavourful and friendly service. Check out our channel for a full review of our experience: Hungry Two Travel.

Jiun Salinas- 12:43 03/26/22
Overrated because of social media! I mean it's quite decent for it's price, pero I expected something better given the hype na galing sa social media lately. I ordered the Sotanghon Soup w/ egg. I feel like there's nothing special with it.. medyo kulang sa flavor ✌🏼

Gladys B- 09:56 01/26/18
Was walking from Quiapo church at Hidalgo street going to Carriedo LRT after attending mass. I saw this crowd and wondered what it was, pancitan pala. Mga old-timers, tito, titas, lolo, lola ang karamihan ng customers. So I thought musty be good, right? I asked one customer which tastes best? Pancit malabon, sotanghon soup, or pancit palabok? The lady said I should try the pancit palabok. Sarap for P30! Plus P10 RC cola the best na meryenda after church. Medyo masungit nga lang si ate na naka-pink dahil sa dami ng customers.

They usually have a lot of customers. Falling in line is patience is highly needed. It is organized and fried chicken or their leimpo is one of the best. I highly recommend for family to try it.

ia likes_eats_travels- 23:20 10/31/21
Very close to the golden mosque, you come here for Maranao food. The food is good but the only thing I would suggest is that they keep it warm because it was kind of cold already especially since it has been raining the whole morning. However, they are very accommodating to my questions about the food. They also give free turmeric soup and palapa (very spicy). Each viand cost P100 and a cup of rice is P20. Food is moderate to very spicy. Make sure to have water to drink nearby if your spice tolerance is low.

Win Olario- 08:47 05/08/16
A popular eatery for Maranao-style, halal food in Muslimtown in Quiapo. Their rendang is popular, though a bit salty. And the balbacua may not be the ox/cow skin strips you expect if you happen to have tried the version from Davao or Cagayan de Oro region - more like bulalo in a turmeric-based soup, and is made from carabao meat. It's spicy, too. And I mean, really, spice. And they're good.

Ordered takeout from hongkong noodles and dimsum house. Got the fish fillet congee and the wonton noodles... both tastes great, for the price.Their sharksfin dumpling is also great

BrianChinito89 TV- 06:01 02/26/22
This is one of the comfort food place if you're looking to try Chinese food for a very affordable price and quality food. I have to say that both the delivery and dining experience was very satisfactory and they even extend some sort of free soup if the customer requests for it so it's actually a plus point for the restaurant as they care for their customers and they try to extend their above and beyond customer service. Kudos to Hongkong Noodles and Dumplings Quiapo.

Winston Napagao- 23:53 10/12/21
One of the earliest restaurant that's open near at Quiapo church, the food was good the place is clean and the staff is polite and friendly, I really enjoyed their Bao a must try when you get there.

John Louie Yu- 05:10 07/14/18
It's okay to try this for the first time but with the expensive menu they have, I don't think I won't go back again. Although food doesn't taste bad at all, there's really no unique dish that stood out. Their giant siomai tasted blunt and felt like it's better to steam your own, The service is okay, staff are neither friendly or rude and the place feels like it needs more cleaning.

The Crema de Leche saved the day! I went to this Hidalgo outlet of Mang Inasal during a hot and balmy day at around lunchtime. There were several tables available at the second floor which gave me a good view of Quezon Boulevard and Quiapo Church.Come and dine while watching people going about their business on the streets below. Real Customer Reviews at Amis Restaurant:

Vincent Edward Festin- 07:58 01/27/23
Quiapo is known for shops and restos that sell inexpensive items. It is up to the astute bargain hunter to find quality in this sea of inexpensiveness. To make things easier, I suggest Amis; a place where quality is happily paired with value. The food is excellent yet affordable. For me, no visit to the Quiapo area is complete unless I enjoy one of their special lunch sets.

Fernando Dairo- 08:01 11/24/22
the con is it's a bit pricey. but the service is fast. i could give them a perfect score if the servers have smiling faces. 🤗

K Vest- 02:57 08/31/22
Everytime we pay visit to Mahal Na Poong Nazareno and do Raon electronics hopping, we are always looking forward in eating to this restaurant. It is a truly hidden gem because you can't spot their place easily because they are covered by street vendors... We love their package meals. Their shakes is a yes, yes! Their waitresses are all friendly. They also have dining area upstairs but people are lining up outside waiting for vacant tables. A really must try resto in Quiapo.

BrianChinito89 TV- 16:53 07/07/22
I just recently found this hidden gem in the heart of Quiapo Manila. It really pays to look around your surroundings so that you could find that gem, the place was very nostalgic it reminded me of the past designs of restaurants that you could only see now from old tv series or an old movie. The uniform of the servants here are very unique it looks very neat and tidy as everybody looks the same but more importantly the food that they serve are really delicious and delectable and considering the current situation they are able to maintain a very reasonable price on their food without neglecting the quality that is why people are always coming back to this place if you happen to be somewhere in Quiapo Manila, I suggest that you pay a visit to Amis Restaurant. You'll not regret it.

Chris Cariño- 06:00 06/27/22
Went here around lunch time on a Friday and they were not too busy. They gave me a table and the menu. Quick and pleasant service.Chinese vibe resto a block away from Muslim Center, within earshot of Quiapo Church and a kilometer from China Town.I got the president's plate?? Came with Camaron Rebosado (breaded shrimp), siomai (dumplings), fried chicken (thigh part) and fried rice (chao fan style). All that for 180 pesos. Also ordered pineapple juice (canned juice served with ice) for an additional 70 php. Good deal 👍Chicken was great. One of the better ones I've tried. It's not like Max's or Savory restaurant's texture or taste. Definitely a different spice mix. Must try!Could barely taste the quality of the dumplings since it's fried. Better if you could get it steamed.Shrimp was good.Fried rice was ok.Overall it was quite good. Great for the price point.Definitely recommendedWill eat here again5 ⭐ all the way

Would be nice if there was somewhere to sit but I just went to Jollibee, the lumpia was great though and the empanada was perfectly crispy

henry chua- 17:54 03/14/23
My father brought me almost 40 years ago and since then, I haven't forgotten the delicious taste of their Lumpia. An unassuming place then, and still is. The recipe hasn't changed but the portion size is a bit smaller than before. Guessed they had to, to keep the price reasonable.

Have a very tasty lumpia sariwa. Freshly prepared with love. Come at your most affordable meal!

Engelbert Tabones- 14:30 09/07/22
It is surprisingly good! It’s all vegetable. The size is small but the taste is packed with so much goodness. It’s fresh, fragrant, garlicky sweet, nutty with a little kick of spiciness. It’s not oily. After trying, was it the best fresh spring roll for me? i would definitely say YES.

Regina Siochi- 02:05 03/19/22
the place (raon) is easily accessible if you are commuting... the store space is a little bit small & quite crampy (but probably this was the standard when it opened in 1956)... you have to wait a little while for your turn most especially during fridays (because its walking distance from the quiapo church)... my parents had always been a "suki" of this lumpia house eversince... i still loved the taste even though it quite got smaller in size now & the price got a little bit higher... but it still is worth the trip 'coz probably good habits are already hard to break !.. ☺🐾🌹
