The servers Jessa and Ariane were very friendly and very attentive of our needs. The food was great! The fish was fresh and the steak was superb. We had a wonderful time and we'll be coming back for date night again Mazher Jaffar-
23:19 10/16/22The food is good. Location is nice. But its old. Feels old... All needs a face lift... Black COD was excellent... The Salmon Sashimi was great too. Nice Miso... The sake is too expensive... Overall a nice place... But... Requires a desperate re set and re launch... Vanny-
04:18 10/07/22First thing that stood out to me was the ambiance/atmosphere and the design of the place. Basically all candle lit so nice dark lighting (in a good way) and accompanied by the rainstorm outside it was a vibe. There was this cool upstairs bar loft space with a nice bathroom as well. The dessert were probably the highlight with some crazy ice cream flavors and tres leches, but I enjoyed everything else too, the drinks, the sushi, the appetizers. Since it is a upscale Japanese place the portions are pretty small with higher then usual prices but that was as expected. The staff were super attentive (there were like 15 staff members haha) and everything clean. Tyrion Lannister-
14:43 08/26/22Woke up late on a rainy Friday night with a craving for sushi but didn’t feel like fighting the traffic with a short amount of time before the restaurant closed.Ordered delivery from Nikkei at PowePlant / Rockwell.Had Ebi and Maguro Nigiri. Spicy Tuna Roll, Salmon Roll and a small fried rice mostly to try something non-sushi.Food arrived fast and everything was packaged very well. All of the fish tasted fresh and the rolls were better than I expected! The fried rice was good but I suspect that it would even better in the restaurant when it was hot rather than warm. I can’t complain though since I chose delivery. My favorite was the Spicy Tuna Roll!I would definitely say that I was pleasantly surprised at how well everything traveled and at the freshness of all the ingredients.8/10 and would definitely recommend especially for in restaurant dining! 04:01 08/18/22Was invited by friends for a gathering and Nikkei did not disappoint! Was my first time in any Nikkei but heard that their menu differs between various outlets.Atmosphere was chill and lighting was just bright enough to each your food, allowing you to have conversations without worrying about making ugly faces.Selection of food was quite wide, Japanese Peruvian fusion is a first for me so I was quite pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to accept a combination like this.My favourite was the Wasabi Ice Cream, which everyone gladly gave up to me.Drinks were good, staff did their best to accomodate despite being full-house that evening. Thank you Nikkei Rockwell!

17:34 01/28/23My husband really felt the need to eat a crazy amount of meat so we went for the lunch special where you can get unlimited meat and seafood to grill for 799. You can skip the salmon bec they give you the “throwaway parts”, the scallops were just ok but the chicken was good. My husband really enjoyed the pork and beef cuts he was served though, they were tender and juicy. Service was good but the place needs a bit of sprucing up - you can see all the signs of wear and tear already but at least the food was still good! Justin Liu-

02:53 01/02/22The price is a bit expensive, and there is not even enough stock of vegetables for barbecue, such as lettuce, the atmosphere is not good, and even basic dishes need to be purchased. There won’t be any dishes to give away ,Won't try again Rajesh Somasekharan-
13:56 11/23/19Tajimaya Rockwell is another favorite spot of mine. I frequent this place whenever possible. Today was a dinner after shopping for us. Place is very easy to find using either waze or google maps. Ample car park and with valet if required. Flat 50 peso parking rate. We were seated immediately but reservation is recommended if it's a bigger than 5 group. We ordered the karibu boneless short ribs, harami skirt, and jou karubi for our grill. We then ordered both the kimuchi moriawase and the namuru moriawase along with Tajimaya tamogoyaki, chajan fried rice and a chijimi along with a potato wedge for our little one. The charcoal grilled meat is one of the best in town. And my favorite is the tajimaya tamogoyaki. All other items were great as well. Perfectly seasoned and mouthwatering. They have an amazing whiskey and liquor collection worth looking into. Staff are friendly and very accommodating. Bill out was fast and they dont charge service charge. I'll be back soon. 02:04 12/17/18The wagyu beef was amazing as well as the other food. Just have problems with the overall service1) Reserved on a given time but when we arrived, the personnel looked unready to cater us. Food and charcoal took too long to arrive2) charcoal burned out too fast. Either it was too hot or not capable of cooking at all. Waiters hesitate on replacing charcoal and thus slow cooking.3) ambiance is fine. Noise is controlled from different tables so this is definitely a place to talk and mingle without disturbing other customers4) it was too dark. Honestly cant see if my food has already been cooked or not.Overall, my experience with my last visit was unorganized and slow service from the crew

13:53 12/20/22Initially have low expectations because it's all chicken which in other ramen places, not that good. But they somehow made it work. The broth is thick and rich - which I prefer but this is not to everyone's liking. This makes sense since chicken does not really taste that well in soups. Gyoza is great despite being made of chicken though it is not as good as their sister resto's, again, defying low expectations. We were there at not so busy time. It's a good try for an experience but I'll stick with pork and beef when it comes to ramen.Food: 4/5Serving: 5/5Service: 4/5Serving time: 30 minutesAmbience: 4/5Cleanliness: 5/5Price: 650+/head Anne Fernando-
13:27 07/21/22Dined here a few times already and main reason why I keep on coming back is because of their chicken-based broth. Not as cloying as tonkotsu so that's a plus point. My go-to dishes are:✅️ Yuzu tsukemen: the best dish for me and what I keep on recommending to fam and friends who want to try Marudori✅️ Chicken gyoza: more like a cross between gyoza and xiao long bao; heaven in a bite and always pair this with your ramen or tsukemen!✅️ Tsukune: minced chicken grilled over binchotan; amazing smoky flavor and yummier when you dip in the teriyaki sauce with raw eggIf you're in the mood for ramen, you can get their bestselling shoyu paitan but if you prefer lighter flavor, then shio paitan will be a better choice. We tried their off-menu lobster ramen once -- somewhat similar to lobster bisque with that lobster kakiage taking the crown. Not something I would repeatedly order though. Didn't like the grilled shrimp appetizer and I'll skip that next time. Edel San-
06:31 06/04/22This ramen-place only serves chicken meat such as diff kinds of ramen with chicken meat, karaage, chicken gyoza (must-try!), etc. Also, avoid visiting during lunch or dinner because you'll just have a hard time getting a table. When we dine here, it's always between 2-3pm to avoid the crowd. As for the food, every item on the menu is simply delish. No kidding. I am partial to their tantanmen though. Not that spicy but definitely has that yummy 'kick.' The gyoza is also amazing. Think gyoza and xiao long bao. The staff are also helpful if you're not sure what to order. Also, this resto is part of Mendokoro and Yushoken group. Carlo Buan-
04:45 05/26/22Absolutely must visit if you are a ramen lover! Must order: The Gyokai! Ramen noodles freshly made, the broth so rich and flavorful. Best tsukemen! Also order their Gyoza as appetizer... the best gyoza that I have tasted in long while too. Practice your chopstick eating skills as this resto does not have the regular spoons and forks 😊 authentic Japanese experience, as authentic as the dishes that they serve. Yum!The place opens at 11am. Gaile Ocampo-
19:45 05/05/22Great place for ramen with chicken broth base. Everything we ordered was delicious. The Shio Tori Paitan was my personal favorite. Its broth tasted light but flavorful. Too bad we missed out on their gyoza. Will definitely come back to try that and their other dishes.

16:47 03/06/23Great dining experience although the food was a bit too pricey. I just really had to turn a blind eye on the price tag thanks to the gorgeous rustic ambience and the scrumptious food. It was so good, I recommended it immediately to my officemates. Lechon was great and what made me happy was that they didn't make the awful mistake of making it too salty. I'm not a sauce person when it comes to lechon but I have to say their sauce and salad sides were great. The iced tea was also quite good with just the right amount of sweetness. I'd go back but it would have to be on my brother's tab! 😂 Patricia O-
02:56 11/16/22Enjoyed the food but a little pricey for what it is. Expect to pay around 1,200-1,500 per person. However, I liked how the menu had a variety of dishes to choose from. Got the Muscovado Beef Belly- this i really liked and was value for money. Enjoyed also the bone marrow as well as the Uni Linguine. The pasta had a very rich umami flavor, and yet it remained light and easy to eat. The burrata was good, but it was way too expensive. Other people on our table got the Lamchops- which i felt were too small for the price. Overall an enjoyable meal and still curious to try the other dishes. Will come back. Jaime de Guzman-
11:41 10/31/22Pretty good food, but I’m not sure it’s completely worth the price. For example, although the telefono burrata pasta comfortably fed 4 and was decent, it cost Php1,600. My main, the grilled lamb riblets, cost Php890, and was a bit tough (although the salsa verde and mint jelly sauce was fantastic). The fried squash flowers with cheese and Parma ham appetizer was easily the best of the lot, and an auto-order. The rest was good, but I’m not really sure it meets the price-value proposition. It is in a prime location and expects that you are able to pay the price though, so it is what it is! Still a great place to celebrate with a special meal. Just be ready to spend at least Php1,500 per head. Adrian S-
16:38 07/31/22Very nice quality good; very good service. A nice contemporary blend of Italian food with Filipino flavors. The pastas were divine - I simply liked the seasonal blue crab pasta; generous portion of crab meat. The anchovy pasta was delicious - thou salty - but preserved the anchovy taste. The penne was great and cooked al dente. The bone marrow dish was generously served with bread and the truffle sauce - matched very well. One of the best Negronis I had here! The only downside which brought the stars down a bit was the beef belly - it was tough and it didn’t seem it was well marinated. My friend was not happy and gave feedback to the kitchen.Everything we ordered was good - just don’t order the beef belly.Interior and exterior was beautifully decorated and the service from the staff were excellent. Recommended. Mars Hidalgo-
08:19 06/21/22I absolutely love eating here. It's nicely tucked away, but worth the walk since you'll be eating quite a bit. It's a bit pricey but it is definitely worth it. Each dish is mouthwatering and is made from locally sourced ingredients (which is great for our local farmers). The staff are so attentive to your needs and you feel like they're happy to serve you. The place itself has such good energy and (for the cat lovers out there) it has all sorts of cat decor strewn all over the place. I will definitely keep supporting businesses like this.Food Recommendations:- Artichoke-Sundried Tomato Dip- Triple Grilled Cheese & Sourdough- Spaghettini Carbonara Deconstruct & 2 Organic Yolks- Muscovado Beef Belly

06:47 10/25/22Ambience and location is really great. Food is generally tasty, Duck prosciutto toast stood out. I really also liked the Charcoal and Roe Calamarata- it was really unique and different (also cooked perfectly). Also stood out were the Truffle Chicken and the 72 Hour Short Rib. Generally a good place to have a special dinner or celebrate if you'd want something more affordable than the usual tasting menu. Jeremy Sulit-
06:18 08/16/22Overall it was meh. The duck prosciutto was super tasty and nicely balanced. The fried rice balls was hard to eat, chewy and lacked contrast. They were super savoury and the shredded parmesan served little purpose. The pasta was delicious but lacked proper plating as the al dente noodles became cold and chewy when only half of it was eaten. The creamy spinach was good, tasty by itself and not too salty. And lastly, their cabbage. The sauce does not come off easily and you can not even dip the cabbage into it. The cabbage is almost 4 inches tall and you are expected to cut this behemoth down and dip it into a sauce that has already hardened on to your plate. There was literally just a burnt cabbage, shredded cheese and some reduced soy sauce for that dish. Totally unbalanced and unacceptable. 650 pesos for this lazily plated and executed dish. Ridiculous. Wanted to just try how good this place is before coming back for the prix fixe, guess not. Julienne Santos-
04:13 03/30/22Went on a quiet afternoon with few customers. The ambiance and the interior was really pleasant.Ordered their tuna tartare, dry age striploin, and honey cream for dessert. Each dish was exceptionally complex. They also took us on a tour of their curing room and preserved herbs and spices. Everyone was really nice and checked up on us a lot.Would recommend 10/10

11:46 01/19/2312/10 never disappoints! It’s our first time to be back post pandemic and at their new location too. Honestly we’re sooo happy they’re back. We tried everything on the menu and the oldies are still goodies (salmon kushiyaki, hand roll, faux twix) but the new additions are stellar as well - I particularly enjoyed the salmon with egg yolk and my husband really liked the wagyu! 13:44 12/01/2212/10's latest incarnation in 8 Rockwell is the grown up, polished version of the brash, creative izakaya that revolutionized Manila's dining scene in the mid-2010s. Helmed by the couple Gab and Thea, the original 12/10 was located in Guijo Street, an off-the-beaten path location that cemented it as the hipster, in-the-know choice for a stylish dinner for Manila's upscale Millennial set. With that core demographic aging out of hassle hipster locations and the COVID pandemic's impact on dining in, 12/10 was forced to close in 2010. The new 12/10 features a more sophisticated and mature ambiance, located in the sleek 8 Rockwell building (home of the only Off White retail store in Manila), giving its core clientele a more convenient and central location.Having just opened in November, the menu features a more limited set of items as the team ramps up again post-pandemic. Old favorites like the salmon truffle kushiyaki, pinipig eggplant, wagyu with leek and uni, and tuna foie gras hand roll are available, retaining the same inventive combinations of flavors that mix Japanese cuisine with non-traditional ingredients. The bartending and craft cocktails continue to be high quality, and the service standards remain excellent. In short, the new 12/10 is a triumphant return of an old favorite to Manila's dining scene, with more to come from the team as they find their footing in their new footing.

14:51 02/03/23Coco Ichibanya is our go-to for authentic Japanese curry. Among the branches in the Philippines, the Rockwell branch for me is the best in food and service. You can never go wrong with the pork cutlet with omelette rice or the curry udon. Service here is quick and efficient, they are also attentive to refill your water as they know you are eating spicy food. They will quickly give seconds of fukujinzuke when you request for it. Food Reviewer-
18:47 07/23/22Taste was all on-point, and the staff were accommodating! The only thing that’s holding it back from a 5 is that the katsu was mostly batter/breading, with an extremely thin slice of meat in between. Also, I kept having to dig around since about half of my meat was just fat. Still, the curry and egg were a great pair! Curry udon wasn’t as good as the pork cutlet omlette curry, so I suggest skipping the experimentation and sticking with the latter. Jaime de Guzman-
06:01 01/07/22I’m a curry guy. I grew up loving and eating a lot of curry. I can safely say that I am a curry enthusiast. The night prior to eating at CoCo, I actually had a really quality curry rice at Japanese restaurant named Tomo, so I was ready for more.Unfortunately, I was disappointed when I tried the curry at a store which prides themselves in curry. I ordered a level 3 spice Chicken Katsu Curry with egg and an add-on of cheese. The curry sauce not only was watered down to the point where it had the liquidity of water, but it was cold. The taste itself was uninspiring and didn’t have that much flavor. The chicken’s batter was coming off just by moving it around. The chicken itself was a very thin slice. The cheese was alright, but not worth an additional (!!) 100 pesos. The redeeming factor for this meal was the ice cream I had after in the store. Needless to say, I won’t be coming back here. 2/5 stars, one for each ice cream scoop. Michaella Talento-
15:47 12/26/19Not too busy during holiday season (post-Christmas).Their curry is good. I personally just opted for a non-spicy curry due to medical reasons. Level 1 spice might be too spicy for others so choose wisely.

It’s our go-to place when we want something light and healthy or the reverse, something really filling. We order dimsum, wonton soup and steamed vegetable or fried rice, sweet and sour pork, spare ribs and it’s fried squid. Renz L-
12:20 04/28/19Shi Lin is very famous for their xiao long bao.(Tip: always add more ginger and vinegar on your xiaolongbao.)We got two sets of Hakaw also because it is so good. Probably 2-3 shrimps in one hakaw! The prawn cake tastes like squidball and may be a little expensive for its size. The pork chop with rice is always the best.... great to add a little vinegar and ginger on your rice for that extra kick.Lastly we got the deep fried mantou. Can be a great dessert with that condensed milk dip. theo-

16:05 03/23/23The food is amazing. Everything is made by hand, just as the brand suggests. You can see your meals being cooked right in front of you. Despite it being enclosed, the smell does not get to you. You will be surprised how amazing the presentation is, and how the flavor is a big wow. One key note is how loud the music can be and it was slightly difficult to communicate inside Jj Sison-
02:28 07/26/22Good food and great service! Recommend to reserve here since the place seems always full. They have have two time slots for lunch which is 11 am and 1pm. You can see them making their fresh pasta inside the restaurant. Their pasta and gelato were amazing! Neil Melecio-

15:20 02/09/23had a laid back week night (outdoor) dining experience here. the place was not too crowded but i think they have a few servers coz the service is kinda slow. we even asked to take our pic, the crew said will get back at us, but i guess she forgot.loved the tapas/dishes we tried —— croquetas de quezo asul (nice crunch in the outside, smooth soft & cheesy inside), almejas a la bilbaina (clams w chili garlic oil sauce), paella del mar (seafood paella), & gulas con gambas al ajillo (shrimps w tiny eels in garlic chili oil). had all of these with paradise sangria (red, we had 2 pitchers for the 3 of us 😝🍹)we also had churros con chocolat & tartita de queso manchego (cheesecake) for dessert. i think we chose the right dishes this time and enjoyed all of it (we recently tried barcino in sm aura and we only had salad and paella and we didn’t enjoy the food much— the paella was burnt but undercooked (yeah i know, i don’t know how that’s possible too, haha!). good value for money, the only thing i think was overpriced was the gambas w tiny eels. overall experience was good. ☺️😋👣💕 #restlessfeet #eatlivewander #eatlivewanderreviews Jose Ernesto “Joey” Indolos-
06:18 10/02/22The Rockwell branch of the Spanish themed restaurant chain. I like the ambiance and, most importantly, the food. I was meeting up with friends, so I wasn't able to take any pictures of the food, aside from the appetizers and drinks that I had while waiting for them. I'll just add more pictures when I go back (and it's good enough that I most probably will).Service is cordial, but the staff get rather hassled as peak hours approach, such is the popularity of the place. I arrived late afternoon, so I had no problem calling attention and getting service. But my friends arrived early evening, and we stayed a few hours, and as the place filled up, it was harder to get service. Then when we got our bill, it was confused with someone else's. But everything was eventually sorted out, and all through it all, the staff maintained a pleasant demeanor. For the record, it wasn't an attempt to charge us for extra, because once we had sorted things out, we actually ended up paying slightly more than their first charge. It was just a bit of a hassle that could have been avoided with better procedures. Still, just a minor glitch, and not something that will keep me away. Ken Aranas-
04:00 09/26/22Went for after-dinner drinks and it was great! Their selection of wines and cocktails doesn't disappoint and for the price, it's worth the quality they offer! We had sparkling and a few beers and a selection of cold cut chorizo and Ibirico ham. Definitely a must-try for anyone in the Rockwell area looking for a Spanish-inspired restaurant! Viraf Patel-
