They have owner's collection gallery, wherein we met (i think) the owner, who explained how their family had collected those items. 17:49 04/09/23Note: I don’t know how many branches Dhang’s has, but the one we bought take-out food from was the one at a Shell gas station in San Pablo, Laguna.We tried their Kuwalong Talong. It was good, but did not really stand out from the other Kuwalong Talong we tried in other restaurants in San Pablo. We also their ginataang kuhol was a bit fishy, and because Dhang’s didn’t provide us with toothpicks, we weren’t able to eat it (you won’t be able to suck the snail out of its shell even if you tried to till kingdom come). Finally their grilled pork belly was quite BLAND and dry, to be honest.Lastly, aside from their ordinary food, what made the experience of buying take-out food from them was their grumpy/unpleasant tindera/staff. When my wife asked her to choose good slices of the grilled pork belly, she visibly frowned and showed my wife mild scorn. Best Employee of the Month SHE IS NOT. The staples here are, of course, their inihaw na tilapia and dishes with coconut milk. Lately, our new favorite is their inihaw na hito (catfish) because nowadays we rarely encounter fish vendors selling hito. (The canned chicken sisig, which by the way tastes better.)I ordered the Truffles steak plate which when we followed up AFTER 30 minutes the basil bowl was served!We were told a few minutes more and the 'steak' will be served. After ordering and finishing a newly ordered macaroni salad, (to break the boredom while waiting for my steak)the steak was still nowhere. Followed up again and after 20 minutes the 'steak' was served 30 minutes later COLD and dry!When we complained they took back the steak and microwaved it for 10 minutes and was served THE SAME DRIED STEAK!The steak which now tasted like a dried piece cardboard! I would understand it if they have a lot of customers but no, there are a lot of empty tables. Then they served our pizza with its ingredients that are not well distributed. The onions is on chunks like come on! How am I supposed to have an onion in my pizza? Like a thumb size?! And moreover, they served the appetizers last. 04:11 10/13/18I've been craving crust lately! We ordered the Supreme Regular Pan Pizza and the cheese wasn't too salty. Variety of veggies and meat was reasonable and the crust was Amazing! On and off, I'd dunk the crust in the wings' Zesty Garlic dip because it's equally good either way. It also helped lessening wastage.The Wings were simple fried chickens smothered with some Honey Barbecue over crispy skin with a good batter. White meat was also always tender.I want more crust!
