12:16 03/05/23Had an awesome dinner here. We got the Xiao Long Bao, Salted Egg Shrimp, Pork Chop with Fried Rice and Beef Noodle Soup. My only complaint is that the Pork Chop wasn’t as good as the one I had in Singapore. Pro-tip: come early as the lines tend to be crazy long. Krista-
16:25 09/12/22Great restaurant. Has alfresco dining for people with their pets. I wish they would be more considerate and put out an outdoor fan for guests outside. Overall, we enjoyed the food even if we were sweating! 😂 The staff were nice in explaining how to eat and things to order. Service is quite fast too considering we went there on a packed Sunday. 06:46 08/09/22Service and quality of food during dinner seems to be subpar especially when compared to how they are during lunch time.*Shrimp & pork wontons with house special spicy sauce - usually the wontons are swimming in their yummy sauce but 2x dinner here and there was barely any sauce on both occasions*Black pepper beef - good flavor but some beef cubes were tough to chew*Crispy shrimp & pork wontons - nowhere to be found as this dish was forgotten; ended up asking them to remove this from our billDishes that were consistently good though: spicy hot & sour soup, salted egg yolk prawns, and pork XLB. 00:26 06/18/22Very Tasty, Very EducationalSo I finally got a chance to dine at Din Tai Fung. The long lines for their Xiao Long Bai always kept me away from trying them but after being told of a 15 minute wait time for a table and as suggested by my friend, we endured what felt more like a 30 minute wait. While waiting for our table we were given an order slip where we needed to write our orders on. They were very thorough and precise with their instructions on ordering and this precision and patience in properly instructing you carried on throughout the dining experience. By the way, the order slip didn't have any prices on it so it helps to check their prices online if you dont wanna go over your budget.Their space was huge, enough to host those big circular tables for large families. We were seated next to their open kitchen where the magic was made. The busy open kitchen was a good distraction while waiting for your orders. After giving our order slip it was reviewed and told to wait shortly for our orders. Depending on the type of food, most of our orders came in quick with our order slip being reviewed constantly to check whats being served was correct and what was pending was followed up on.On to the food. We got the house special which was a medly of seaweed and veggies strips. It had a tasty watery sauce which somehow masked the otherwise strong seaweed taste. The fried pork wantons and vegetable noodles came shortly. Both were absolutely delicious. I particularly liked their noodles. While waiting for the rest of our orders, we had a crash course session on how to properly eat and fully appreciate the soup dumplings. One of the servers provided instructions on how to properly eat the baos and how to properly create the sauce (complete with ingredient ratios and a demo too). It was my first time trying their Xiao Long Bao so I had to devote my full attention. Shortly after the very educational interaction, our baos were served freshly steamed. I immediately tried the pork soup dumplings (correctly adhering to the instructions earlier). They were tasty amd had so much pork goodness on them. I had around 2 to three chomps to finish one. We also had some Foie Gras Xiao Long Bao (we were told to have some water first before eating them to cleanse the palate first). I dont normally eat liver but the baos did not have that liver taste I frown on. Every bite of it was a burst of umami flavor that was definitely delightful.Aside from the baos we also had Salted Egg Yolk Prawns and Spareribs. Both were absolutely good and thats saying a lot as I dont normally enjoy eating anything that has salted egg but I ate so much it and the ribs.It was a great first experience with Din Tai Fung. I appreciate how the staff had masterful knowledge on how their food can be fully enjoyed by their diners. The attention to detail and patience was truly as spectacular as all the dishes that we got to try. Arya C-
05:47 06/07/22It was my first time to dine here as I am not a fan of fads, and this resto has been quite a fad for a time. The price is relatively cheap, and the food is really good. Serving size is also generous. Service is so-so, the front-desk clerk is a bit rude.

18:48 02/22/23Superb. The ambience is so relaxing and everything is clean and organized. What I liked about it is that they have self serving condiments area which is by the way, one of fhe cleanest condiments area ever. Also, one of the things I always look for in a restaurant is how clean their comfort room. And theirs are so clean and really smells good. The best highlight of my experience here was the food. I wish could try more meals in one sitting. I really loved the red misua oyster, it was soooo delicious. I'm quite excited trying more of their dishessss especially the chicken soup. I'll definitely go back. For Time Never Waits-

06:20 05/17/23Food was good, very reasonably priced and these were served promptly. Food servers are very attentive. They also have chillers packed with ready to cook food in case you fancy bringing home some. Would recommend. 😊 Sophie Sy-
07:40 04/04/23Tucked at the other end of Banawe, Uniku is a nice Taiwanese Restaurant that serves one particular dish which brings me back to my roots (read through to find out what that dish is!)Location:You can find Uniku opposite of 238 Banawe Center. Unless you turn your head, you may end up missing this place. Parking is not a lot, but there are plenty of streets nearby to park your cars.Atmosphere/Interior:Can I just say that I am appreciating that more and more Chinese restaurants are steering away from the traditional dining setup and design into a more modern, minimalist interior. Uniku has a clean look, with little to no red (something you often find in Chinese restaurants). The place is small, so if you are coming in for lunch, come a bit early since it does get busy fast.Service:The employees are somewhat attentive. When we ate here, there were three servers serving the entire restaurant, though keep in mind that the place isn't large either. Most of them didn't have much enthusiasm serving so maybe that's why they didn't seem attentive.Food:The server will come to your table and you select from the menu what you want to eat. You could also ask the server to give you the paper listing all the menu items so that you can be the one to write what you'd like to have. We ordered fried rice with porkchop (P250), Signature Sichuan Noodle Soup (P240), Flaky Scallion Pancake (P90), and Adobo Pork Ear (P170).The Flaky Scallion Pancake 💙 had me on cloud nine with a wave of nostalgia. It tasted like home and while it needed a bit more flaky texture, the flavor hit the spot! It wasn't drowning in sauce, had the right chew and thickness to it.The Adobo Pork Ear was also impressive. It stewed well and you'd think it was salty, but it had a good balance of umami flavors. The ear itself had a bouncy bite and the cartilages added a good crunch. This paired well with the fried rice especially with the sauce. The Fried Rice with porkchop didn't have anything too special about it, but the meat to breading ratio was something to applaud for. Most restaurants would have more breading than meat, but Uniku does it well. The crust was not too hard that you'd scar the roof of your mouth, but it wasn't too soft that you feel like you just ate soggy bread crumbs. The Signature Sichuan Noodle Soup was the only one that didn't impress us so well. The noodles didn't have that bouncy or chewy texture, rather it felt like the thick noodle you'd have when you eat Palabok. It didn't match with the soup. The flavor needed a bit more salt and most of all spice since it is a "Sichuan" soup.Overall, I'd highly recommend trying the place out and of course we'll be back for more, perhaps we'll try a difficult noodle dish! Until we eat again! Symon Chan-
17:15 02/23/23Menu is fairly priced for the amount you get, fairly small place so service isn't half bad, but parking is a bit limited. For a taiwanese restaurant though the food was a little bland, other than the soyed pork ears the other dishes lacked seasoning for me, nothing a few extra condiments won't fix but it's a little bit of a hassle to still have to season your food properly. Matilda Huang-
05:19 01/07/23My second time in this restaurant. Love their hot and sour soup. The taste of the dumplings are excellent. Ready to eat product are available to take home. Therese Chua-
20:01 11/12/22Taste-wise, the food is so so, but price-wise, I'd say it's affordable especially if we compare it to how much we'd pay if we were in a restaurant in Taipei. We had an okay experience aside from my friend biting into a staple wire in the fried chicken fillet rice!!! Good thing he didn’t swallow it! The staff wasn't even shocked so I'm guessing it has happened before? They weren't apologetic either so that was a big negative point for them. I probably wouldn't go back there again. Ht T-
03:22 07/03/22I've eaten here before when it was new but I wasn't happy with it. I tried it again now to see if they made any improvements but sadly it was still the same. Food was mediocre. You can get better version of it in other Chinese restaurants in Banawe. Price was reasonable but not worth to try again.

10:25 03/21/23They offer Taiwanese Cuisine. We ordered Beef tendon noodles, Pork and Shrimp Wanton noodles, Xiao Long Bao, and Spicy pork ears. 07:49 12/15/22Dropped by busy SMCITY NORTH to check out smartphones. Famished after windo shopping and found Fat Fook inviting to sit down, njoy lite lunch bites in relatively uncrowded space. Service was quick, ordered piping hot claypot rice, tan2mien, minced pork baguio beans, and xian lang bao. Both claypot nd noodles were generous servings. 11:10 07/24/22Fat Fook Kitchen is located at the third floor of SM North Edsa. It is a Taiwanese restaurant that offers various foods such as soups/noodles, dumplings (fried or steamed), rice toppings or rice meals, and much more. The tasted is excellent. We enjoyed the Taiwanese fried rice and fried pork. The dumplings and chicken skin were also savory. As for the price, it was expectedly expensive but it is worth it. The serving is also big and they have dishes for sharing that is good for two to three people. The ambience was also good. It was cozy and clean. It was also easy to get a table although it was dinner time. Dominic Dayta-

09:01 10/04/22They offer Taiwanese Cuisine, food is just ok, nothing too special, the price is just right for the serving size. The hot pot dish is good but the Hainanese Chicken is a bit dry for me. 01:08 05/03/22This place really serves good food. The crew was very cheerful and helpful. The ambience was nice, relaxing. Cost of food was neither cheap nor expensive, the important thing is that you really enjoy the food served. The only problem one might have, coming here is the parking. Other than that, would highly recommend this place. We'll definitely be visiting again soon....if not this branch, then the one in Q. C. which is closer to our house.

10:55 06/30/19Shi Lin is underrated. Many of its menu items are similar to one famous Michelin star restaurant and so the quality and taste of food. 18:09 02/10/23Unable to find the resto we were looking for, we ate here. After a 20 minute wait, when we could choose our food and write it down on an order form with a pencil, we got our table. The food was okay but service incredibly slow. Anywhere else in the world, this would be fine, but this is yet another mall chain, pretending to offer a high dining experience at very expensive prices. How I wish there were more mom and pop restos in the malls, where there is a love for customers and a love for food rather than a formula created in a corporate head office with a "what's the minimum we can do to charge a high price, keep shareholders happy and fool the people they are getting more than cheap eats at high prices".Would I remember this place? Yes but only for the bill and not the food or service. It's a yuppie diner (I can't say restaurant as it lacks the class) in a yuppie city (Makati) where yuppies know the cost of things but not the value of them.Seems to be perfect for the people who judge a resto on the ability to get IG photos and not a quality dining experience.Nothing was wrong with the food (except the salted egg yoke shrimp which was bland). Nothing was wrong with the service. What is wrong is the price of 3276.09 for 2 diners getting average rather than good food. miaka yuki-
11:31 06/13/22Two thumbs up for their service..staffs are attentive and professional.Ambience is just fine for a modern style Chinese restaurant.I was just a bit disappointed with the xiao long bao. 16:15 08/31/22We were blown away with this restaurant on every aspect; food, taste, quality, service, cleanliness, interior design, price (it’s fair). It’s a great food experience. The star is the Xiao Long Bao, it is really, really good. The Chicken Chop Fried Rice has that asian spice we are looking for.The Crispy Beef Strips are surprisingly good! It’s also perfect combination with the fried rice. The Chocolate Lava Xiao Long Bao was my favorite of all. It’s hot and has a nice chocolate inside a soft, smooth, chewy mochi covering. It’s happiness! The service and food quality are high. Emmanuel Dato-
14:16 07/21/22Food is still delicious. Most restaurants food have been affected by the pandemic but Din Tai Fung food and service are still great. They have the best Xiao long bao and the pork chop fried rice is just so good. Haniel LC-
14:41 06/20/22Their custard lava is the only thing that we really enjoyed in our dinner, the rest were so-so. We had seaweed salad as appetizer, sweet and sour pork and black pepper beef as our main entree. You get charged extra for the spicy sauce of their shrimp wontons. Their pork and chicken dumplings are okay, nothing remarkable. The black pepper beef came in like crispy tapa that were coated in thick flour. It's the most expensive dish that we ordered yet it's what turned us off. We got disappointed because our egg fried rice came in last when we almost finished all the dishes and it took 2 follow-ups and another 3min waiting time before it finally got served. The lemongrass juice and milk tea were too sweet. Love joy-
07:21 03/13/22I rate it 6/10. Its not that delicious as advertised. Foods are bland. All of them tastes the same. Xialongbao-you can taste the sourness ,same goes to the other dumplings (imagine ypurself doing homemade siomai ,its not like other resto that has umami taste in their food) .the servings of veggies are enough for 3 people because it tastes nothing but oily. Foods that i can recommend are the choco lava xiaolongbao (yummers pramis) cucumber with sesame oil ( the only food that has umami taste haha), chicken chops fried rice (is good as well ). Black pepper beef is ok, sweet/ sour pork of chowking is much better. Fried noodles with veggies tastes like bbq but its fine. Chili garlic dumplings is good as well. But if i were to choose between. timhowan and din tai. Ill choose timhowan. Food there are much better. Waiting time is ok. Maybe because people doesnt eat much there Hestia's Journey-
06:00 02/26/22Good Chinese food. Nice and accommodating staff. My dine-in experience could have been better if I didnt need to line up to pay the bill. Had to wait in line at the cashier near exit. NOT a good idea especially during peak hours or peak season.

07:19 05/04/23It's a stand alone restaurant in the Greenhills commercial complex. Parking was easy. Food was very good and reasonable. They have this set for five pax which was more than enough for 5 adults and two kids. They don't have service charge but the staff was very attentive and quick. Our favorite in the area. Elaine RB-
01:39 04/23/23Feast for five is definitely like a feast meal for 8 persons! Everything in the menu is love! XLB was soooo goooood! Make sure to enjoy it while it's hot. Will definitely come back. Krispin Wehrli-
17:32 12/12/22Always solid and good quality ingredients. One of the best places for good straight forward Chinese/Taiwanese food. Their staff is efficient and proactive. Also, thank you Cafe Lugang for setting an example and using paper containers instead of plastic containers for take out and delivery. It is so much more sustainable and healthier (micro plastic elimination).Very sad to see that the majority of Manila restaurant companies still didn't get the memo and still are using plastic packaging for everything. Very behind. It's wasteful and unhealthy.Cafe Lugang keep it up! Going forward, I will prioritize you when ordering for delivery because of your paper/card board packaging. Nicole Yango-
21:10 11/15/22Went on a lunch time but luckily a group just finished and we only waited just so the staff can clean the table.Waiting time for the food to arrive was maybe 15 to 20 minutes.Pork Wontons in spicy chili oil - it was not spicy and the sauce tasted like the knorr liquid seasoningXiao long bao - it was good, the wrapper to filling ratio was a bit off.Mixed mushroom in XO sauce - this one is oily but it's also addicting to eatSpicy beef and tendon noodle soup - again, it was not spicy but it was full of flavor, the beef and noodles were perfect. 08:18 11/06/19Was able to try their feast all you can again! Super happy with our dining experience (we were a big group of 16 pax)We were able to use the private room which was great (10k consumable)What I love about this round is that there are more choices for the house specialties.Top faves: salt and pepper squid (SUPER) pecking duck wrap, pork xlb, wasabi mayo shrimp Era “era the explorer” T.-
07:04 02/02/19Sweet and Sour, wonton and congee tasted good even after we requested less salt and no MSG. Their chili sauce is addicting. The place was cozy. They have a wide array of Taiwanese foods and shakes! Their veggie and truffle steamed dumpling was also good.
